She gets so upset with me. She's Christian but gets upset anytime I try to talk about god and says I'm ruining the mood. Its usually when we're drunk and I'm trying to talk about something I found really profound.

My situation is weird. I feel like she can change as she grows but I also feel trapped. She has three kids who I now see as my own. I am the main provider and I want to provide for them. She has told me several times she's gonna kill me, but I feel like she's just joking and she usually says she is, but she finds it funny to hit me and hurt me because she knows I'm not going to do anything back. She holds things over me and against me, and I can never win. I'm either wrong or I'm wrong. She wants to marry me, and she hasn't cheated on me. I've never been in a relationship with someone faithful, so I have a lot of trust issues. I think she does too because of all the people who have cheated on her. I don't know whether to be concerned, scared, caring or careful.

I'm scared. Help.

I have never been a father or stepfather until 3 months ago. Now I'm the stepfather of a one, three, and five year old at 22. The kids all made me cute little construction paper father's day cards and my girl made me a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I feel blessed. Happy father's day y'all!
