Does the 7 day hordes get easier if I keep losing????

Im still trying to learn the game but if I don’t advance quick enough will I just be a lost cause for 7 day hordes? or do they get easier every time I die? Because iv died a lot and it’s halted my progress so I don’t want to fall behind. So how does it work?? Can you fall behind and have to restart?

Does this game even play right on a steam deck??

I tried this game on my buddy’s deck and I could not figure out how to do most of the actions on the screen even when using the controller layout. Is this possible? If so answer me this how do you choose different positions? I tried every button and could not figure it out. Any guides or videos to teach you how to play it correctly on a deck??

Any idle games that have some challenge to them that you can recommend?

I’m looking for an idle game where numbers go up but I also have to put some thought into it to be more successful.
