I want to buy a new laptop, and I like that you can space it our over a few paychecks. My Pay-in-4 got declined today? Was it because I am new to PayPal or maybe because the total was $1589? Or something else. I read where $1500 might be the limit. What about buying a $100 Microsoft gift card and getting the Pay-in-4 under to $1500 to $1489. will that work? I hate to buy a $100 Microsoft gift card and still get declined by PayPal.

What do you guys think of the watching the game on the MLB app?

So far for me the app seems decent. It stalled a few times. The thing I noticed immediately is that we go from the noise of the game and announcers to COMPLETE silence during commercials. 😂 Maybe a little background noise would be fitting? What do you think? The first few times I thought maybe my TV or internet went out with the complete silence. 😂 Is it complete silence for you guys on cable TV?

Edit: Commercial was forever. Now I only have audio after a refresh. Ughh.... Then commercials came back. Then no video again. Ummmm...they have some issues to work out.

I hope Google doesn't give in to this asshole every time he throws a temper tantrum. I will switch to Apple if they do. I have grown up on the Great Lakes my entire life. I was all excited about the new Gemini speaker. I bought one two weeks ago and received it yesterday.

I have never returned anything I've ever bought from Google but I have to say, that was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Okay, I lie, the biggest piece of junk I ever owned was the Amazon Echo Show 5 that constantly showed me ads even at 3:00 a.m. when I woke up to glance at the clock. This was a close second.

Right off the bat. I couldn't believe how poorly it understood me. I'm not talking being off just a little bit, I'm talking about being a mile off even compared to the old Google speakers. For instance, I would ask it to play smooth jazz on Pandora. It constantly said "not available try again" . Also, no matter how many times I said smooth jazz, it would reply "okay, playing calm jazz." And I would say no, smooth jazz. And it would reply again, "okay playing calm jazz." 😂😂Ahhhh... I was screaming laughing at how bad it was.

I also turned the sensitivity all the way up and still had a hard time interrupting it. Those speakers can be long-winded. At some point. I like to interrupt and go on to the next thing. I would have to scream at it to interrupt it. I don't know if the speakers are just bad or what's going on with that design. I have a big Amazon studio speaker and it has outstanding microphones on it. I believe there's six. My point is is that when you interrupt it, it shuts up immediately. I would hope that this new Gemini speaker would have done the same thing as my 5-year-old Amazon studio speaker. Not even close.

Having three nest speakers already. I just don't understand the point of this new Gemini speaker. It was slow, it was a poor listener, I can't think of one thing I liked about it. I sent it back within 12 hours.

Maybe I am a little more excited than normal for this next earnings report, but there have been several catalysts that excite me about Berkshire stock lately. Chevron just had BLOW OUT earnings and I expect the same with OXY next week.

Coca Cola killed it! American Express was great. I have to think that many of Berkshire's own businesses are doing well. A lot of money has been made from the Japanese trading houses. Speculation of a record buyback. I am going out on a limb here and may have to eat my words, but my prediction is that Berkshire returns THIS YEAR to beating the S&P 500. I know - wishful thinking - but, we'll see.

I was able to automatically connect for the past year without an issue. For the past couple of weeks I cannot connect to XFINITY or Xfinity Mobile, only the unsecured xfinity wifi hotspot. I have a Pixel 9 Pro. Is it my phone? I reinstalled the app 5 times. Nothing. Thanks for any help!

I don't see many deals. It seems a lot of prices were raised in the past month to make it seem like a deal, but I am not seeing much worth buying, not like in years past.

It just seems like the prices are so high to begin with. I was looking for a simple plant stand for my patio. My God, most were $60 - 100! Stands that were $20 bucks 2 years ago. Last year I spent about $250. This year I bought a bottle of sunscreen and some Amazon AAA batteries. That's it.

Are there any cruise boats that leave out of Pier 15? I keep seeing City Cruises, but they don't show the boats leaving from Pier 15?

I am not sure what happened, but I was at a casino and was charging on their level 2 charger for free for a few hours. I decided to leave and clicked Stop Charging in the app.

When I got home to plug it in to my level 2 charger, I got a red light on the dash and then it went completely off. I also went to another public level 2 charger and it wouldn't charge. I know my home charger, which has a green light, is fine. The dash says the car was plugged in, but it was not charging. I went a level 3 charger and the car charged fine.

I was on the internet looking for remedies. I tried holding the hang-up button for 20 seconds and rebooted the console, that did nothing. I tried the hard reset where you turn the car on and off while waiting 10 seconds between motions, then lock the doors, leave with the keys for at least 30 minutes. The light on the dash in constantly blinking red.

The blinking red light went out after about 20 minutes. At 40 minutes, I tried charging again, nothing. Same problem all over again.

Anyone have any experience in this? God, I hope this ANOTHER dealer problem. I am getting fed up with this flaky car.

I just paid $79.99 a month ago for Gemini Plus 200mb for $79.99. I also pay $79.99 for Fitbit (Google Health) that needs renewing in July. I received their email today about new pricing. I decided to upgrade to Gemini Pro 5TB for $199. With Google Health is now include, as is Google Home, Youtube, 5TB of storage, and Gemini Pro. I figured it was worth it. Anyone else?

I don't get it. I try to understand my aunt and uncle who are huge Trump supporters (which is fine) and also on Medicaid. Why are they not concerned about 2027? 20% of the people in most of the counties in the UP are on Medicaid and it's going to get slashed big time right after the 2026 elections because of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

I love them dearly but it's like talking to a brick wall. Are people that ill-informed up there? I'm a firm believer in democracy and voting for whatever candidate you want, but at the same time, to support a candidate that hurts you in every way possible seems ridiculous! My mom and I are to the point now that we're making contingency plans to move them out of the upper peninsula to down state just so they can find a way to get the healthcare they need. This is a huge stress on our family! And when I talk to my elderly aunt and uncle about this, all they say is Trump will save us. OMG It's killing us! 😭😭😭

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out something that has befuddled me.

In my 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV, I can't figure out which button to press on the steering wheel to play a text message. For example, when a text message pops up on the screen, you see a button that is highlighted in yellow where you can hit play. Isn't there a way to play that message without taking your hands off the steering wheel? I would think there would be, I could do this in my GMC Acadia. I know the whole point is to be able to do things without taking your hands off the steering wheel, but for the life of me, I can't figure out which button on the steering wheel to play my incoming text messages. Maybe I can't do this and I have to lean forward with my finger and hit the play button on the screen. But I'm hoping there's something on the steering wheel that I'm missing that will allow me to do that. This has befuddled me for 2 months now. Thanks for all your help.

Just curious how this will affect the businesses downtown who are already slow. A friend that bartends on Woodward has noticed a huge slowdown from older folks who've commented to him that it made them uncomfortable. Most of the teens are doing nothing wrong but 100 teens walking toward you on the sidewalk can detour a lot of older folks from even bothering to go. Curious to see if it's discouraged you from going there?
