I will be coming to Thailand soon and staying for at least 3 months on a multiple entry tourist visa. I previously lived in Thailand for a few years and had bank accounts but since I left in 2022 I'm now hearing that's not possible anymore on a tourist visa. So I'm looking for a way to use QR payments, Visa, etc. I've recently read a bit about the Kbank QR code thing that has been introduced but I also heard there may be better alternatives but I'm not sure if that's specific to Thailand or not. Moreta, Wise, etc. I already have Wise and PayPal and used to use Wise frequently for bank transfers between countries but never for making payments. So I'm essentially looking for the best way to make payments with QR codes and VISA as someone on a tourist visa. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. I've heard you might be able to use prepaid cards on ticketmaster. That's what trusty AI says at least. 🙄 But I've attempted this with a prepaid USA Visa, a prepaid USA Mastercard and a prepaid Amex (can be used in US or Canada) and none have worked so far. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with this before? I don't know if there's a workaround or something where I should be typing something specific in the address and or name fields, etc. Do I put my name in, the card name, etc. I've also attempted to purchase ticketmaster gift cards with these prepaid cards and no luck there either. Just wondering if this is possible at all. I've only attempted with prepaid US cards so far with the exception of the prepaid Amex that was bought in Canada so I haven't tried any prepaid Canadian Visas or Mastercards yet. Any help would be appreciated. Although I'm not very optimistic on this subject. Thanks!

Ok so Bet365 is very confusing to say the least. There were 2 apps to download that looked identical. The first one was asking for a social security number which we don't have as Canadians. So I downloaded the other app and it was preset to Canada. But when attempting to enter my address it had every province and territory in Canada except for one. Ontario. So I then found a website that is exclusively dedicated to bet365 in Ontario but there's no app to be found anywhere that I can see. But my brother is also in Ontario and is able to place bets through a Bet365 app of some sort somehow. Is there a hidden Ontario app available to download or something? This is getting ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm looking to go to my first Jack White concert ever next week. In Toronto. I was curious mainly from people who have been to shows on this tour and others as well if anyone has had any luck getting pit tickets at face value the day of, or maybe a few days out like we are now? From ticketmaster or resellers. Also if that hasn't been happening or there's not a good chance of it happening what about the same question but for close seats? Any chance of getting good seats at face value or close to face value in the week leading up to the concert? Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if anyone has seen these anywhere recently and if so where? I bought a box at wholesale club last week and went back the next day for more and they were gone. I don't see them listed online either other than the regular cups at Superstore.

Not talking about Ticketmaster but every other site is still selling tickets way above face value. And I'm not talking about service fees. For example, face value tickets for Jack White in Toronto in the pit are $167.50. Yet they're way more on resale sites still. All over the place. $300, $278, etc. Are these websites simply not complying with the new law?

I know that email was sent to several people with tickets listed last week and it was posted on here. But looking at several Ontario shows the prices still seem to be all over the map and I believe above face value. But I don't know exactly how face value is determined under the new law. Is dynamic pricing now gone or is it going to exist meaning face value could be all over the place and not consistent? Thanks in advance!
