An interesting train of thought on a Sunday.
My son (9) is looking to get into D&D, I welcome this as it gets him away from devices and gets the creative juices flowing so to speak. As we're tottering away coming up with a campaign etc. I had a flashing thought strike me. Why isn't this sort of this widely available here? Publicly I mean? Would it take much to set up a scheme at a local library for example? Would it be possible to get a club placed in every lirbrary and state funded? Hold D&D evenings and creative writing sessions, terrain crafting and miniature painting sessions for kids? It would get more kids in libraries, more potential authors in our society and so on. Is there much demand for this sort of thing?
