I do GCE A levels and I am going to take the May/June session in 2027. My results and certificate will come out in August. The website says this “Important:
We can only take A-level curricula into consideration if the GCE A-level certificate will be obtained.” Does this mean because i don’t get my certificate by May, I cant apply?
Has anyone ever done that? What did you do differently? Would appreciate tips
I just wrote my AS level internal term exams with Papers 1,2 and 3. I scored 32/40 in p1, 53/60 in p2 and 31/40 in p3.
I got an A. I want to get an A star. How can I improve in each of those papers? Please give me advice. I desperately need it!

I have decided on keeping Imperial College London, University of Manchester, University of Glasgow, University of St.Andrews and University of Warwick as my 5 choices on the UCAS.
I am about to go into year 13 but for Year 12 internal exams, I had gotten 4 A stars for my first term and I do not yet know what i got in the second term because my results aren’t out yet, but I am guessing 2 A stars and 2 A’s.
I study A level Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Economics. I want to study Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry in university.
I did the IGCSE’s and I had gotten 8 A stars and 1 A (equivalent to eight 9’s and one 8 in GCSE’s ). I also was the highest scorer in IGCSE biology in my country (99 PUM).
As for super-curricular activities, I have done a paid 8-week internship at one of the biggest FMCG companies in my country if not the world where I worked across 4 different quality control labs including soap and detergent, cooking oil, packaging and margarine. I have also done several national and international olympiads and won medals. For example, I won two bronze medals at the 2023 VANDA National Science olympiad and in 2024, I was the highest scorer in my country for the International Chemistry Quiz and I qualified to represent my country at the 2026 International Chemistry Olympiad, but I was not able to go due to the current war situation. I was also part of the two-time winning team at a televised, high-school national quiz competition, wherein I was awarded the Most Promising student the first year and Best in STEM the second year and I was also the Team Captain.
Aside that, I am a public speaker and I have won a national public speaking competition in my country and I am also a two-time Ivy league MUN awardee. I was also the vice-captain of the winning team of a national business challenge. I am the vice-president of the first African chapter of an international children’s non-profit in my country as well as the deputy-secretary general and head of operations at my school’s MUN where I manage a team of 40+ members and I am about to organize an MUN with 400+ delegates.
So, are my choices alright?
Hi! I am an AS level student and I am about to start preparing for my first SAT probably in October. It’s currently June. What are some of the biggest tips you can give to a first timer? I do not believe in retakes and I am the type of person that wants to get the score I want to get on my first try. I am not thattttttt great at math but I am good at english. I am aiming for a 1550 to a 1600. What are the best resources and how can i start preparing?
