My grandmother, 1940
I never met her. She'd be 117 today, and I am only in my early 40s.

Probably because it would most likely be just some nothing mini. Rather have the unique Witt RC to 65.
I mean he left after a year, as Snowden is not known as a sports showcase school, but it's still cool and he is probably the biggest attendee since Mark Wahlberg.
It's weird, compared to almost everyone else he has so few autos.
This is one of the most decorated, most fierce players of all time, who today would be a man among boys, giving endless nightmares on both ends of the court. Guys who haven't done anything yet have rc cards in the millions whereas poor Drob's rookie card legacy is basically a cup of coffee.
I guarantee you if this set had the 1996 rookie class stars as its checklist it would be known as one of the most legendary sets of all time. But alas, this amazing set has truly one of the worst checklists one can imagine when your theme is the future stars of the NBA. See pic 5.
Anyways, out of the pack this card comes in a truly one of a kind double encasing. The inner case protects the card. The outer case is a soft plastic that wraps around the entire card and is filled with liquid and glitter.
Wave of the Future had been a Flair staple insert for some years at that point but never before did they attempt something so wild. How could you even grade this? You can't even touch the actual card without ruining the card.
If the checklist was any better maybe Flair would have done it again, but years later it stands as a truly unique insert lost to time.
The Marbury and Garnett are the rarest. That's Jam is right up there with Dunk N Go Nuts as the great pop art insert set of all time.
The Garnett Exclamation Point is very rare, but this one is particularly great but it has the sleeve and is in very nice condition. PSA doesn't grade the sleeve, so it's hard to find top names from the set with a crisp sleeve in the wild.
The MJ Behind the Glass is just a beautiful, condition sensitive card with one of his best card photos.
And I posted about the Shaq yesterday before the others arrived. Scoring Kongs, nothing further needs to be added.
You not only have to beat expensive odds to get the right team, you then have to REALLLY beat extremely low odds to actually then land something meaningful.
If you want to burn $500-$1000 you might as well buy the product directly and buy the rights to actually keeping everything you rip.
It's your money of course, just be aware of the math and money involved here.
It's such a perfect color match, the pictures don't even do it justice
1991 Skybox GQ common base subset
1998 Skybox Mod Squad, semi-rare insert
2024 Panini Prizm Sublime, case hit
Unique mashups you won't find in licensed. Something like this on one card is thrilling for me.
An unlicensed prospect auto is not.
Photos 1 & 2, what do we have? Looks fairly bland, right? Nice photos of the GOAT and company, but nothing special.
Now...flip them things over and take a look at photos 3 & 4...the 'And One..." name of the set might start to make sense now.
Let's go to pictures 5 through 7. Using my second Antoine Walker as the guinea pig demo, we break the seal and the envelope unfolds in an origami like way to reveal the actual card inside and also a new photo on the backside of the envelope.
Most of us know the Topps Finest peel protector coverings and the debate of whether to peel or not, but here the complexity is raised to the next level. PSA doesn't grade the full sealed card envelope. Only the inside card. IMO, the ideal version of this is still completely sealed after all these years.
Those sticker seals are not easily removed, so it takes some effort to break the seal. When searching for good examples, always make sure to examine not just the seal but also the gaps in between the paper folds to check for it possibly having been resealed.
Some people also have used fake replacement seals that look similar but don't have the Skybox logo on them. There's a Jordan for sale right now with the fake sticker. These cards, both the envelope and inner card are very condition sensitive as well. I bought this Jordan primarily because of the superb condition of the seal and back. Flat seal and no gaps between the folds. That to me is the most important.
I don't care about not being able to grade it. I just want the perfectly sealed envelope.
Lenticular ftw.
OK, so what do we have here? From looking at these with a little bit of distance, we see a paper card stock and a nice above the shoulders portrait of the player with some deep colors. They're not foil or acetate or chromium. We also see two small circles with a vague image on each side. What is all this? Let's examine further...
Using Michael Finley as the demo card, no offense to the great Michael Finley but you'll see why you might not want to player around more with the Kobe...
We zoom into the circles on pictures 4 and 5 and we see those circles are actually 2 convex binocular lenses.
What once looked like a flat card, on photo 6 we now see actually opens like an accordion and those flat pictures behind the two lenses are identical on both sides.
It's hard to show entirely from taking these pictures, but photos 7 through 9 show that when you add a light source and adjust the distance between the lenses portion and the back portion, the image suddenly becomes one single 3 dimensional magnified image.
Pics 10-13 show more of the total area of the card and its complexity.
I have never in my life seen any of these cards graded by PSA or Beckett, but you can imagine the difficulties in trying to assess their condition.
Twoine's impact on the game is actually quite amazing. He was the very first player, for better or worse, to consistently add volume stretch three point shooting to his repertoire. Curry and Klay changed basketball culture with their 3 point shooting success, but it was Antoine who actually pioneered the modern three point shooting we see today. Again, for better or worse.
For free! The card isn't exceptionally valuable but the Forcefield parallel of the base insert was a pretty tough pull then, and it is quite gorgeous.
If you want it for free, send me a screenshot of any charitable donation you have made in the last year, (without any personal information included). First come, first served.
Of course the Ohtani still isn't THAT cheap, but more reasonable than some of his other stuff.
Basic membership costs 36 packs. The upgrade, 360.
