Color help

I had used a Demi perm dye to take my natural light strawberry blonde hair to what was supposed to be dark blonde, but took me pretty dark brown. I maintained that hair color and did my roots for about a year before I was over it. I went in for a color correction recently and I guess I expected the stylist to use a color remover, but she went straight to bleaching my whole head. Needless to say, this compromised my hair pretty bad and its current condition is not good. I’ve been washing with a bond repair shampoo every 3 days and using K18 to try to help the damage. The color I’m currently left with is truly awful. I don’t know what I was expecting but I had hoped to leave the salon blonde but I’m this extremely unnatural orangey-grey color (if that makes sense?). I have scheduled to go back in 9 weeks for highlights to try to get blonder but I’m questioning whether I should go back to the same stylist or find someone new.

Can any stylists chime in on whether going straight to bleach was the right choice? And what a realistic expectation should have been going from brown/demi to a more natural blonde. I’m happy to share before/current pics via DM if that would help. I hate that my hair condition is the worst it’s ever been and that I have to exist with this awful color for months until my hair is healthy enough (hopefully) to go lighter and hopefully more natural. I can’t help but think a color remover would have had a better result and now I’m questioning whether or not to let her continue with my hair.😭

The proposal

Midge shared her proposal along with some throw back pics of her first time visiting Jenna in Vegas. She included some pics showing off hickeys her Granny gave her. Such romance.

Have you ever actually smelled greasy hair?

I have a dear friend/neighbor with terrible hygiene. Her hair doesn’t even look as greasy as Jenna’s and I can typically smell her hair from 3 feet away. How can anyone tolerate her filth?

Need advice

For several months now I’ve been using Ion Demi-permanent hair color. I’m naturally strawberry blonde, attempted to go darker blonde and ended up with dark brown. I’ve included a reference pic of my fake vs natural hair color.

If I want to go back to my natural color, what is needed? I plan to see a professional but I’m not sure what I should ask for, what kind of process I’m looking at, etc. My hair is very fine/thin so I’m worried about the overall condition of my hair in doing this.

Shipping issue

Wondering if anyone has insight of what may have happened here? UPS says they’ve transferred to USPS but USPS has no record of it?

Does anyone have T1D or T2 and use a pump?

My son has HS and is type 1 diabetic and he got a big red HS type lump on his stomach at his latest pump site. I’m not sure if it’s just a bad reaction to the pump or the overpatch or if the irritation from the pump caused an HS flare. Does any pump wearer have experience with getting HS bumps on these sites?

2 tickets but no Tori fan

On a whim I bought two tickets to see Tori in Phoenix. The problem is, I don’t have any friends who love her and her music like I do. I’m actually considering just going alone because I feel like the experience would be less special with someone who doesn’t know her music.

Late fall barn wedding

The invitation says semi-formal and comfortable. Venue is a rustic barn venue. Would these dresses work? Leaning toward the first one just because it’ll probably be fairly warm where I am.

“Gradual” where? 😂

I tried the Tanologist daily glow lotion for a gradual tan, to extend my Bondi Sands tan. Now clearly this is user error as I applied to my foot and missed that some of the gel (it’s more gel than lotion consistency) was not rubbed in but dang! This stuff calls itself a gradual tan. I wouldn’t have expected this. 3 days later and this spot has not faded even a little. User beware. For a gradual tanner, it’s potent!

Did anyone’s lump end up being an abscess?

After my biopsy the result came back that I had an abscess inside my breast. I was prescribed 10 days of antibiotics (4 pills per day) and it did reduce the size and I felt far less discomfort. But it feels like it’s growing back a little and I’m feeling some of the same heaviness behind my nipple again. Has anyone experienced an internal breast abscess? The doctor said if antibiotics doesn’t get rid of it, surgery may be necessary.

After a mammogram and ultrasound I’m Birads 4 and go for my biopsy tomorrow. I’m really hoping the results come back before the weekend. I’m scared. I never admit that I’m scared but I have a 9 year old and a 16 year old and I just don’t want to have to battle cancer. I just watched my 44 year old cousin pass away two weeks ago after battling endometrial cancer for 5 years.
