couple things i wanted to address as well. i’m not a minor, im an adult but still live with my family. yes the paint is chipping, the house is very old. no we don’t have the money or time right now to fix. yes the closet is messy, that’s a project for later. and yes the trash bag will be taken out. a lot of people were really rude on my last post, which is why i deleted it. i’m asking again for any constructive tips you can share. thanks!

dogsitting for senior dog, noticed this all of a sudden. apparently he has a history of swollen eyelid before

he’s 14, not sure of his breed. i’m dog sitting while his owner is away for a week. she said he has a history of this in the past and i messaged her but im kinda freaking out. i’m not sure what to do

fish keep dying and i have no idea why

some prerequisites, my tank is always cycled and thoroughly cleaned after each try. hot water and dawn dish soap. in my tank the first time i had sand and live plants, fish died. now i have gravel and live plants, fish died. all i’ve had were bettas. water temp is perfect, no ammonia or anything concerning on any of my tests. i have been using my dads cycled tank water and bottled water. i have a mystery snail in my tank that has been doing completely fine the whole time. at this point im thinking its the bettas that were sick when we bought them (my dad gets them from petsmart unfortunately they had the healthiest ones in regard to local pet store). i’m just so at a loss.
