My advertising has stopped because Amazon can't "pre-authorise" my card. I have had the same bank account and the same card for over 2 years without any problems. I have followed their steps to resolve the issue but I end up on a merry-go-round.
Is offsite advertising enough to generate sales on Amazon? If not then my only option is to walk away.
A buyer purchased some shoes in the early hours of the 20th August. They asked if I could send them quickly as they were going to a wedding on Tuesday 25th August and wanted the shoes for the wedding.
I dispatched the shoes on the morning of the 20th August and I have tracking proof that the buyer received the shoes at 12pm on the 21st August. The buyer had 3 whole days (22nd, 23rd, 24th August) plus half of the 21st August to let me know that the shoes "don't fit". Instead, he has waited until today, the 31st August, 10 whole days after receiving the shoes and 6 days since the wedding he was attending.
It seems clear to me that he bought the shoes in order to wear to the wedding and had the intention of returning them afterwards. Ebay has automatically granted a refund. I've lodged a complaint - am I likely to get anywhere?
I'm based in the UK. I was checking my advertising (I advertise on the .co.uk and .com sites) and noticed that the sales attributed to advertising was higher than the sales showing in my reports dashboard. I did some digging and found that I had sales in the USA which weren't showing on my dashboard, which appears to only show UK sales. Is there a way I can view my global sales in one place or do I have to manually check each country's advertisiing stats?
I have an outfit all set to go for tomorrow but I'm ready to change it all because the belt and shoes don't perfectly match. My shoes are a dark chocolate brown suede loafer and my belt, whilst also suede, is a lighter shade of brown. It's not tan, more just a normal mid brown. I've ordered a chocolate brown suede belt but that won't be here for about a week. Does it matter much if the belt is lighter than the shoes?
I have a pair of black leather loafers and I'm looking at getting a brown suede pair. I'm torn between the usual horsebit on its own, as is the style of my black pair, and the horsebit with the green and red band underneath. I do like the band but it's very prominent. What would you go for?
Do they need a full leather resole or would a topy be enough?
So far I've come up with a white shirt and stone/beige chinos. But I would like your advice. There's some pink on the blazer so how about light pink chinos? Or a light pink shirt with beige chinos? Or should I use green? I have brown suede shoes and a matching brown suede belt and also blush pink suede brogues and a matching blush pink suede belt.
All advice is welcome.
