I knew the diorama wasn't gonna be small, but like where am I supposed to put this. Its a massive outer box. I put it next to the 1st chapter special edition just so you can see the scale of it. I just find it slightly outrageous. How can I display it? Anyway Im not mad. I just wasn't expecting it. 🤣
Got to meet Mackenyu at FanX this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. Literally earlier this week I thinking how cool it would be to meet him and then the next day it happened. They didn't announce him until Thursday. What a wild ride.
I had heard of them before but hadn't really listened to their music much. Im a huge fan of Visions of Atlantis and went for them, but glad I stayed for Kamelot. The stage and light production were amazing. They have great stage presence. The lead singers of VoA and Frozen Crown came out and put on great performances as well. I'll be going back to listen to more Kamelot and definitely see them again when they come back.
I got Gundam vs Zeta Gundam at a retro game convention 3 weeks ago. I took a gamble and waited until the end of the last day and since it has a slight tear/rip in the top right hand corner I got it for a hell of a deal. I got it for $100 and it goes for 2x that.
Then yesterday I went into one of my local retro stores and saw MS Saga. The owner said they had it for a few weeks. They had it listed for $200 and it can for much more in this condition. It was almost closing time so I went back home, grabbed some games that didn't care about, and traded them in the following morning and got it.
I have never seen these locally in all of my years of collecting. The fact I saw both in a span of a month is pretty awesome.
I bought 10 collectors boxes of series 1 and 5 collectors boxes of series 2 of the Earth Scrolls from a local target, best buy, and gamestop. I got 9 hits. I never went more then 3 boxes without a hit. I got some of the hits in 2 straight boxes, but never hits in 3 straight boxes. I got approximately 1 hit for every 1.6 collectors boxes.
I got around $200-250 usd worth of value while spending $170 usd. I find this pretty fair since they are only $10 a box or $2 a pack. A whole lot better when the Series 1 of Heaven Scroll were $20 for a collectors box. This should give you an idea what your pulls could be like. Im pretty happy with what I got. I got some doubles that I can sell ot get some of my money back.

I immediately went to Amazon to order it the moment I found out it was removed from streaming. Luckily it was still available. Now its sold out everywhere and the scalpers already are taking advantage on ebay. I
If they are taking away physical media then shows should never disappear from streaming. It needs to always be available. We all know that's not how it works but it should. I sincerely hope it comes back to streaming so everyone can enjoy
This is the cheapest copy I could find of the complete series on the ebay. You can easily find just season 1 available, but season 2 is no where to be found. Complete Series is really only way to buy it. There aren't a lot of copies floating around so those that have it are keeping it. It is animated by Ufotable so that might be why. Anyway I just wanted to vent.
Got this ebay order delivered today. Who mails cardboard box games like this? Im not sending it back because I dont want to deal with the hassle. I technically got what I ordered. The seller had 100% rating with 500 sales so I dont want to ding them with a negative score but the box didn't look like this from the pictures in the listing either. Definitley got damaged in shipping. What should I do here?
It took 3 weeks but they finally arrived. Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. Only cost me $100 while the North American Region A releases are way more that what I paid. Importing is the way to folks.
As title says I imported my 1st Japanese bluray. Its the Baccano Aniplex Box set and it comes with the English dub. It's the exact same as the Aniplex Of America release. While that goes for $500+ online the JP release was only $100 including fees, shipping, and taxes. It even only took a week to get here too. It won't be the last one either.
AoA titles are so expensive and they rarely go on sale so exempting them from the B2G1 deal is so dumb. They would still make tons of money even with the discount. At least do with all the AoA titles like they do with Demon Slayer. Have regular edition and then have the expensive Limited Editions.
Most of these shows are available in the UK at regular prices so Im probably gonna start importing more of these titles. CR is literally losing money by not having AoA titles as apart of these sales.

As you know the Gundam releases are outrageous prices in the states, but hella cheap in the UK. I already have a regular bluray player so changing my ps5 region is no problem. Im gonna order the Gundam series I dont have.
Anyway if anyone has thought about getting a region free bluray player this might be a good option for you too. Many international releases with import fees are still cheaper than releases in your own country. Especially if it's OOP in your country, but not in another country. Im stoked folks. Let's go.
This goes so hard for just a standard dvd release. The slipcover and alternate artwork underneath is great. The reversible cover art is just phenomenal. Its only $20 on amazon too. Totally worth iy. It just needs a HD remaster. I figured it would already have one if it was gonna happen.
I didn't buy any of these expecting them to be worth anything. I just buy what I like and want. I bought all these when they came out. Only thing I wish I bought more of was Gundam. I just wanted the old evangelion dub and not the new one. I love cowboy bebop so the steelbook was a must at the time. Also got Redline years ago. Didnt cost much either. Eureka Seven was available cheap for years. Cant believe its cost so much now. Anime fans love their physical media. So do I.
The 1st two episodes were amazing. Especially the big fight at the end of episode 2. Even during it I was like this feels like a finale type fight. Then episode 3 was okay. Then episode 4 was terrible. They cut so many corners in animation. It was basically one giant slide show for most of it. Very disappointing way to end it. I'd say watch the 1st half and then just skip the last half. Its better that way.
Its still be worth watching even if the ending leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Im still happy Discotek released it. There is just something about these early 90s OVAs that I just dig. Keep it up.
