A Safe Space for the women to be heard. 32M

A while ago, I was going through one of the toughest phases of my life. During that time, a woman offered me something incredibly rare her time, her patience, and a completely non-judgmental ear. She listened without trying to fix me, without flirting, and without making me feel weak for opening up.

The only thing she asked in return was this:

"When you get the chance, be that person for other women. Listen to them. Support them without bias. Women need genuine listeners in a world that's already full of people with other intentions."

So I'm keeping that promise.

If you're carrying something heavy, feeling overwhelmed, confused, hurt, or simply need someone to talk to, know that you don't have to go through it alone. Sometimes we don't need advice we just need someone willing to listen and understand.

I'm here to offer a respectful, judgment-free space where you can share what's on your mind, at your own pace.

Your feelings are valid. Your story matters. And you deserve to be heard. 💜

Shaam

Ho gayi shaam,

Par araam nahi mila.

Awaaz aayi uski,

Paigaam nahi mila.

Chand se kya gila kare,

Hume khula aasmaan hi kahan mila.

A safe space for the women to be heard

I posted a post a couple of days back where I offered women a space to share their stories, experience or anything at all, I promised a judgement free space and no prejudices.

Link to the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/DesiMingle/s/6bskIeJBYN

A lot of people called me opportunistic, and accused me of using the post as a "pickup line" without knowing the reality. So here I am sharing a few screenshots, with the consent of those users to let people know that not everyone wants to be a playboy, some genuinely want to help too.

What's the truth about your life that people would misunderstand?

This is for women who have something they've never really said out loud., especially in a country like India where platform for women are difficult to find.

Maybe it's something people would judge you for. Maybe it's something that would get you called selfish, weak, dramatic, ungrateful, "not a real woman", or worse.

It could be about relationships, marriage, motherhood, religion, sexuality, family expectations, loneliness, regret, abuse, anger, dreams you gave up, or anything else.

I know there are women living in places where speaking honestly can cost them their reputation, their safety, or even their future. And honestly, even in more "progressive" countries, women get shamed all the time for things they didn't choose or can't control.

If you've been carrying something around because you felt nobody would understand, send me a message or leave a comment. No screenshots, no posting your story elsewhere, no lectures, no trying to "fix" you.

Just a stranger willing to listen.

You can be completely anonymous. You dont have to explain yourself perfectly. You dont have to make your feelings sound reasonable.

Sometimes people just need a space where they're not immediately judged.

If that's you, my inbox is open. ❤️

32M: If you could choose any superpower, what would it be and why?

I've noticed that people's choice of superpower usually says more about them than they realize.

Some people want to fly because they crave freedom.

Some want teleportation because they're tired of wasting time.

Some want mind reading because they're curious.

Others want invisibility because they're nosy. Let's be honest.

So here's the question:

If you could have any superpower, with no limitations, what would you choose?

More importantly, why?

I'm less interested in the power itself and more interested in what made you choose it.

For me, I'd probably choose the ability to pause time. Not to become rich or cheat at life, but because there never seems to be enough time for the people, places, and moments that matter.

What's yours?

32M | Looking for people who have stories, opinions, and at least one weird thought they haven't told anyone

I've noticed something strange about adulthood.

Most people aren't lonely because they're alone. They're lonely because every conversation starts sounding the same.

Work was busy. Traffic was terrible. Weekend was fine. Repeat.

So I figured I'd try something different.

A little about me:

I work in consulting, which basically means I spend my days helping businesses solve problems and my evenings wondering why humans create so many of them in the first place.

I'm curious by default. I can lose an hour reading about ancient civilizations, AI, psychology, strange historical events, why certain songs trigger memories, or why we always think of the perfect response after the conversation ends.

I enjoy meaningful conversations, but I don't take myself too seriously. I firmly believe a discussion about the meaning of life and an argument about whether cereal is soup can both be equally valuable.

Some people collect stamps. Some collect watches.

I seem to collect unusual conversations.

What I'm looking for:

People who can talk.

Not perform. Not impress. Just talk.

Tell me about the hobby nobody knows you have. The city you miss. The opinion you rarely share. The dream you've quietly carried for years. The random thing that made you smile this week.

And if you decide to message, skip the "Hi."

Instead, tell me: What's something you're surprisingly passionate about?

I promise that's a much better beginning.
