Ive noticed that in terms of election results when a good candidate wins doomers will instead of dooming about which candidate won will instead doom over margins. Theyll say something akin to "the result should be 90%-10%, this 50%-40% win is way too close". This almost reads to me as a cope over the fact that the better candidate won, as if they wanted the terrible one to win so they could gloat about how right they are about America being cooked. Since the terrible candidate lost they gotta find some reason its bad actually.

I think the fact ive been seeing this a bit more often tells me the more insincere doomer types are having to grasp at straws for something bad lately since allot of their crazier predictions from the early Trump term didnt pan out. I think it also speaks to how effective people have been on debunking allot of the more prevalent doomer talking points like the martial law thing for example (remember that one? lol)

I think based on him not being able to drink tea after getting blinded due to the heat Ryuko would have figured out how to create allot of heat with some new evolution of Senkets which would overload his goku uniform.

Just showing what Jax said to Ribbit would have cost the story nothing but You get more eyes on your show if you create contentious discourse by keeping it just barely vague enough that a sizable group will interpret it differently. Goose knows how digital circus fans are so Goose 100% knew what discourse would go down at the shows end.

Im unsure if everyone has seen this but whenever I see a story about a good development in politics I used to see a stream of "oh well the admin will just do what it wants anyway" or "this is just a tiny drop in an ocean of terrible things they're doing" or something in that same vein.

Ive rarely been seeing such talking point over the last few months. Maybe the doomer types realized it was starting to ring hollow to most other people or maybe they're running out of steam since things haven't gone to the worst case scenario like they've claimed it would constantly. Either way I love the current vibe shift of people being sick of whats happening but not giving up and being demoralized but instead working to wake up those around them and advocating for whats right.

Your basically just a glorified IRS. Go back to accepting paying more taxes than colonials(British citizens in Britain paid about 10 to35 times more in taxes than colonials in the thirteen colonies did) without getting represented in parliament either(only roughly 3% of the total population in the old country actually had representation in parliament)and then just rolling over and accepting that while us chad Americans start blasting over relatively minor tax hikes because we didn’t have a say in them being passed. Maybe you Brit’s should go back to banning ninja swords or something and leave being actually cool to the US.

I think there is a solid chance if the gains are big enough that we flip the Georgia state house and senate. Should that happen the GA is out of the running for pro GOP redistricting for the foreseeable future. I think flipping GA like we did VA is the key to neutering the GOP gerrymandering strategy. Especially when allot of the GOP efforts are basically squeezing blood from stone right now.
