Well,

We are both uni students at a top uni in our country and in good majors. We share the same background in terms of family, money, success, experiences. He is above avarage as I heard from other people around 7-8/10 and as I heard I know that I am slightly higher than avarage, 5.5-6/10.

The thing is that there are lots of demand for men who are above good looking, have good family, are successful, come from a good background. This guy has it all. I also assume that he probably likes girls that are 7-8/10.

He probably assumes that I like him. He showed me some interest signs too, I askes a few people and they said it so too, but I can't be sure whether he likes me or he is just playing with me and boosting his ego.

What should I do like?

Background: 22 yaşındayım, "top 6" denilen üniversitelerin birinde okuyorum. Çok sosyal, girişken, konuşkan birisi değilim. Bu lisede de böyleydi çünkü lisede aşırı mutsuzdum hadi orayı geçiyorum. Üniversitede olduğum 3 senenin ilk senesi hazırlıktım ve başımı kaldırıp millete bakmadım bile, okul ev yaptım. 1. sınıfın bahar dönemi aklım başıma geldi de biraz sosyalleşeyim dedim şu an 2. sınıfım durum daha iyi ama çok da farksız değil.

Bunun yanı sıra sevgilim olmamasının sebebinin bu sosyal çevre eksikliğinden mi yoksa görünüşüm yüzünden mi olduğunu bilmiyorum. Çok güzel birisi olmadığımı biliyorum ve açıkçası çok da bakımlı bir insan da değilim, temizim ama.

Çok da yakın olmadığım kız arkadaşlarımdan "Senin hiç sevgilin olmamıştır" ve hani olmaz da zaten iması gördüm ama yakın ve iyi niyetli bulduğum kızlardan böyle bir ima görmedim. Açıkçası o ilk grup kızların kötü niyetli olduklarını düşünüyorum (bir şey yapmadım onlara).

Ama yine de kafam karışıyor acaba o gruptaki kızlar haklı mı diye.

1-)He knows I have crush on him. He has sat right next to me or one row behind me lets say 5 times in total despite other empty seats. But didt say anything and smile. I would say he might have mirrored me once or twice too.
2-)Once I saw him standing at my desk row looking at me with a subtle smile I was minding my own business than I turned my head and saw him.
3-)During his presentation he held prolonged eye contact with me and then got flustered.
4-)I generally participate in the class and give him attention but last class I withdraw and didn’t participate and he answered even the silliest questions.
My take is he might doesnt like me back only like the attention and the ego boost. My reasons are:
For 1, he might have wanted just testing me to see how I react when he sat right next to me. For 2, the smile might have been for feeling good about being liked. For 3, again he wanted to test me and got flustered because of fear of leading me on. And im the least sure abt 4, maybe its just coincidence or if its him it might have been fear of loosing free interest/ ego boost.

Üni öğrencisiyiz ikimiz de. Ondan hoşlandığımı biliyordu. Birkaç kez yanıma, yakınıma oturdu ama hiçbir şey demedi. Sınıfa ilk gelmiş otururken kafamı çevirince bana bakıp gülümsediğini gördüm. Someone who knows I have a crush on him maintained prolonged eye contact with me during his presentation. I looked away and then looked back, but he didn’t break eye contact. Then he started using filler sounds, even though he normally doesn’t, and for the rest of the presentation he avoided looking at me. What was his intention?

I think he was trying to assert dominance at first, and then he got scared of leading me on. Does that make sense?

(İsimler uydurma ve hiçkimseyle öyle aman aman yakın değilim ama en yakın olduğum Ayşe) Okulda Ayşe isimli bir arkadaşımla kahve içiyordum ki bunu bana o teklif etti.
