Ideas for persuasion

Like most players, I really wish for more possibilities for influence politics in Bannerlord. I think there should be more possible ways to use persuasion instead of only asking out girl and convincing clans leaders to join. Here are my ideas:

  1. Convince by argument or money clan leaders to vote in favour of some new policy. Right now, until you are king, you cannot by pass policy which would benefit in loyalty, without reducing influence of others clans.

  2. Convince leaders in favour or oppose to proclamation of war. Like we are at war with some factions, so better not starting another one. Or not make war with factions which has already allied with two others.

  3. Convince lords to retreat to castle/town under siege. You could done that in Warband, so I think it should be possible in Bannerlord.

  4. Convince lords that you are the best candidate for new king.

How often did you use short buffs ? (Lasted for rounds)

One of the most challenging for me decisions are when to use buffs which are short in time, like displacement or haste. Mostly I use them for boss fight, since I would run out of spells quickly if I use them more often. I tried to expand their time with meta magic but something didn’t work or I make some mistakes. Any advice? Or maybe I should spammed rest after every single encounter to keep my party always buffed? Also, I hate buffs which lasted only on encounter, like inquisitors judge or rage, which is annoying when there are short breaks next to each other.

More units with twohandle sword

I realy wish that more soldiers could use two handle swords. For now only fian champions and weteran falxmen use them and some guys from the main storyline but that’s all.
I would gladly change vlandian pikemen for men with big swords, it’s would remove useless unit in exchange for swords solid damage dealer.
Or maybe add mercenary unit to hire in tavern, for now only crossbowmen are good units while rest are the trashy.

Epic Musical Odysseus build

For my next run I want to try roleplaying as Odysseus from Epic Musical, but I have hard time to get how to build him. He is called „warrior of the mind” so I thought about rogue or ranger with high intelligence and charisma, but I don’t know if I should build him as range damage dealer or melee? In the saga he uses both weapons so it makes difficult put only in one way. For mythic path I think the best suited would be legend, but what path previous would be most fitting?

Any thoughts, ideas?

I have become bully in beta

I must say that lasted patches in beta gives a lot of advantages for the Nords, so many that sometimes I feel like bully for anyone who dares to sail the seas. There is why:

  1. Autoresolve on the sea gives huge advantage for Nords, so almost nobody possesses threats to me
  2. Claiming new ships in battle gives you big pile of money, making you rich super fast.
  3. With the right perk I can recruit Corsair on the water, these bands are larger and come with undamaged ships
  4. I travel faster than on land and I can sell most of the horses.
  5. On the sea I can keep higher numbers of troops than limits and they won’t escape. So I can recruit bigger armies and then stack them in garrisons faster than on land.
  6. When I call lords to my army, I can give them extra troops, so almost every army has full potential.

So yeah, I feel powerful without Fian champions, Khans Guards or cavalry.

Recently I got hands on perfect hair pieces for Linzi and I just had to make my favourite bard in Lego. I hope she looks similar enough to game;)

I noticed in sieges that once you destroy battering ram, soldier behind it will attack gate with their own weapon. Nothing serious, but I like that.
