My 15 year old Marimo.
Their first 5 years were in a jar, the last 10 in my aquariums. They got lost among my plants and I just pulled them out yesterday so they are looking a bit rough. Normally their hair is shorter and tighter.

Tiny bladder snail too. This is in the API plastic test tubes.
My gourds haven’t been thriving this year and despite trying to grow many varieties it seems only my bottle and mini bottle gourd seeds took. I have the start of powdery mildew and I feel it’s a circulation issue. Still I love my gourds. I can’t help but touch them. I go out every night and check on every one of them as part of my night time routine.
Sorry about my dog gagging in the back ground. She was drinking out of one of my bug/bird water supplies. She’s knocks the safety stick out and isn’t allowed but it is her favorite water.
I’m getting sick of this huge plant but only a few stalks have reddened. Any tips?
These poor fish.
I got 4 black, and 3 hair band from my lfs. It was all they had. They are going into 55 planted tank with 6 rummy nose tetras, 3 soon to be zero guppies, 1 mystery and 1 nerite snail, and a bunch of shrimp. So far I have barely seen them. Any tips or warnings on kuhli loaches? I’m so excited, I already love watching them slink around.
I live in SW Washington and would love a referral to a rehab near me. I don’t see any visible injuries. It won’t fly or walk away from me. Offered it earthworms and water which it rejected so I left it alone. It’s in the very back of my backyard and I can keep my dog and my sister’s dogs next door away from it until I know what to do. It’s in the area I put the ❤️. I have a few robins in my yard everyday and this is so sad to see it like this.
Edited to add- could this be a fledgling?
Was found in SW Washington in wood mulch with a few dead potato bugs(isopod) nearby.
My daughter found this while weeding under my persimmon tree. We are in SW Washington. The visible vein is something. There a few dead potato bugs near it.
My garden has gone through some changes and I have random asparagus pop up.
This guy lives under my substrate most of the time. He pop’s out every few weeks and often I only get to see his underside. I noticed this strange part of his shell. Hoping it’s normal for this type of nerite.
I planted this 3 years ago for my fish tanks and shrimp. They eat the leaves. I’ve never eaten a mulberry so I am very excited. Anyone else grow mulberries? I know to keep it pruned so it won’t get large and messy. Any tips on keeping birds from getting the berries?
