1200s Greathelm Tabletop Terrain?

Finally played a match, got the full rulebook, and now looking for some good terrain to represent some of these scenarios.

Does anybody have any good links?

Caveats

  • I’d like to keep it mostly historically accurate to the 1200s, but some fantasy-style terrain is fine as long as it isn’t obviously inspired from a different time/place.
  • Europe, Middle East, and North Africa are all fine locations for the architecture to come from as long as it’s 1200s-y or at least 1100-1299.
  • I’m interested in both man-made structures like buildings, walls, fences, etc. but also natural structures like trees and stuff.
  • I don’t have a 3D printer so STLs are a no-go.
  • I’ll take instructional videos about how to make it myself but I don’t have access to a large workstation or a lot of the tools or materials so I’ll only be able to make simple stuff.
  • Things that could work well to represent the scenarios in the book specifically would be cool but I also plan to do my own scenarios so it doesn’t need to be limited to that.
  • Those little 12”x9” game boards I see people making on here are really cool and I wouldn’t be opposed to giving that a try myself if there are any good tutorials but loose buildings and scatter terrain is what I’m used to.

Original Full OST for Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy

This is a playlist for the original soundtrack for a game I'm part of the team for. A link to the composer himself can be found in each of the video descriptions but I don't think he's on reddit.

The genre of song varies, but overall the soundtrack is meant to be a bit moody and creepy, but rarely outright scary. It is for investigating mysteries.

Muted Swallow A Eureka Actual Play series of narrative, intrigue, mystery, and possibly lesbianism.

Sally Jeong is dead. According to police, she took her own life. Open-and-closed. According to her friends and family, that doesn’t make sense, but what can they do about it?

A mysterious woman appears on the doorstep of Sally’s long-time friends, Emily and Maddison, after they contact her through a friend of a friend. She’s willing to take the case, seemingly free of charge.

Unbeknownst to any of them, another young woman has appeared in town, one the enigmatic detective has a long history with.

What follows is a meticulous investigation into Sally’s death, played out using the Eureka system. Also they kiss.

Muted Swallow eschews massive production value and scripting in favor of the authentic, sincere experience of just listening to a few friends actually play a TTRPG. The deduction is real, the dice rolls have consequence, and there is no guarantee that our protagonists will even be able to solve the case. (It does however feature original music.)

New episodes release on alternating Mondays at 10:45 AM CST. At the time of writing this, 14 episodes have already released and are available as a playlist.

About Eureka

Eureka is an original 2d6 system with a primary focus on real investigation of “fair play” mysteries, which also supports in-depth characterization and ‘slice-of-life’ elements through its character building and “Composure” system. Investigators aren’t just mystery-solving automatons, they’ll behave like real people with emotions, wants, and needs just by following the rules of the game. The full rulebook and everything you yourself need to play can be downloaded at anim-ttrpg.itch.io
