Final day of this week’s leaderboard. Can anyone take #1? 🏆

Today is the final chance to climb this week’s Drive for Five leaderboard before it resets.

Think you can beat 5 cups and 94 points?

Captain Europe or the USA, build your squad, make your pairings and see if you can win five straight Ryder Cups.

Updates to Ryder Cup Game

https://driveforfivegame.com

I posted Drive for Five here last Monday and really appreciated everyone who played it and took the time to leave feedback - a huge thank you!

I’ve spent the week working through it and have now released a fairly major update, including:
- a completely reworked chemistry system for Europe and the USA;
- clearer pairing information and match projections;
- live Cup-pressure updates during sessions;
- post-session Captain’s Read analysis;
- a smoother initial draft;
- a rebalanced five-Cup difficulty curve;
- a substantial visual and presentation upgrade.

The basic challenge is the same: draft 12 players from Ryder Cup history, choose your pairings and singles order, manage the team, and try to win five Cups in a row.

It’s still deliberately difficult — especially towards the end — but it should now feel fairer and give your decisions more impact.

Thanks again to everyone who gave feedback on the original post. I’d love to hear how people get on with the updated version, particularly which side you chose and how far you managed to get.

Unofficial fan-made game, with no affiliation to the Ryder Cup or its organisers.

Looking for feedback on browser-based Ryder cup captaincy game built with AI-assistance

Hi all,

I’ve spent the last week or so building a small browser game called Drive For Five and would love some honest feedback.

The game is a fairly straightforward golf captaincy simulation inspired by the Ryder Cup. You draft a team, set pairings, and try to guide your side through a series of historical matches.

A few things to be aware of:
- I’m not a professional developer. The game was built with significant AI assistance while I learned as I went.
- It’s a free browser game rather than a commercial project.
- It’s still very much in prototype mode.

All feedback welcome! Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Ryder Cup Game

Morning all,

I’ve been working on a Ryder Cup game for a while and have finally got it to a point where I think it’s playable. I’m now seeking some feedback to ensure it works as intended and is enjoyable.

The idea is simple: pick your team, make your pairings and see if you can win five Ryder Cups.

If anyone fancies giving it a go, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think.
