We were together for 3.5 years and we started dating in high school. Once we went to college, we did long-distance for about 3 months and then mid-distance for about 3 months (I transferred closer to home, not for him). Well, about a month into school, he cheated on me with a girl named T. After he cheated on me, he and T did nothing after that.

Over the summer, I broke up with him for unrelated reasons because he was low-key becoming a shitty BF, and I was just confused and heartbroken because he was never like that. After we broke up, we were in limbo, talking but not together, and we would hook up.

Well, we both went back to school and stayed in touch. One day we were talking, and he admitted to cheating on me last year. I was DISTRAUGHT. Everything suddenly clicked into place about why he was a shitty boyfriend. I went no contact with him after that for about 2 weeks, and one Friday he texted me saying he missed me and that it was the worst mistake of his life.

We are still kind of talking, but I was wondering if anyone has gotten back together with their ex after cheating. I am not planning to go back anytime soon, but I honestly am just wondering. He was a massive part of my life, and he's also my best friend.

Just wondering when dry period is, is it 24 hours or one week before formal recruitment?

Hey guys! I’m 18 and recently started noticing tampons make my cramps worse… for context I never really wear pads because I hate the feeling of “sitting in blood” and I’ve been wearing tampons since I was 14 and recently I started paying attention to when my cramps start and they’re after I put a tampon in. I usually free bleed at night because tbh I don’t really care and I feel like my period aren’t that heavy and I never bleed through my pants at night.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Hi! I am currently 18 and looking to start saving and investing my money.

I currently have a Bank of America account open for my checking account.

And I currently have a Fidelity savings account for stock?

- I’m currently adding 20% of my paycheck to my BOFA savings (no interest) and another 20% of my paycheck to my fidelity (it has interest).

I’m honestly not sure what I’m doing but I’m currently a sophomore in college and now I’m looking to open a Roth IRA for retirement and people have been telling me to open a HYSA.

But have some questions
- Why do people open a HYSA, and when you have enough money in it, what do you spend it on?
- Should I keep some money in my BOFA savings account for emergency or should that be through another thing like HYSA.
- I think I’m looking to save up for a house and a car for when I’m older if that’s helpful.

Honestly I’m really confused on all of this and if someone could help explaining it that would be so helpful. Sorry if I sound a little dumb.

Hello! I am 18 (about to turn 19 in August) and I’m going into my sophomore year of college and I want to open up a credit card.

For some background I was always an authorized user on my father’s credit card accounts so I have a pretty high credit score of 700+ ish. But since I’m in college I am not using his cards anymore just because I’m kinda “financially on my own” in sense that I have a job and can pay for my own things.

I am also pretty responsible with money and won’t spend more than I have.

I have a gas car so I spend roughly $75-$100 on gas monthly and I will be spending most of my money on food.

I am in between the Bank of America customized rewards card and the student discover card. (I already have a checking account+savings with bofa so idk if that would be easier)

If you guys could give me some input that would be great thank you 🙏

I’m 18 and just recently saw obsession and backrooms at seven bridges and Phoenix in warrenville and just got ID for both. I’ve never gotten ID for a movie 😭 there was also a bunch of teenagers who were younger than 17 kicked out / turned away.

We have been dating for 3 years and started dating sophomore year of high school. We are now both rising sophomores in college. (Different schools 2 hours apart.) ‘mid distance’ hasn’t affected our relationship.

I don’t know what to do. I am happy in the relationship and I do love him so much. But the problem stars when we hangout with my friends. He always makes very inappropriate and perverted comments.

An example is we were at a birthday party last weekend and there was a girl there, we will call her A. We know A from highschool but are not close with her. A is dating someone named Q. We were playing jackbox quiplash and my BF puts a “joke” about Q’s dick. Which made EVERYONE SO UNCOMFORTABLE. And I could see it in everyone’s faces.

Another instance is my bf made a “joke” was when we were talking about food and my friend brought up how she liked sausages, and my BF said “yeah you would know a lot about sausages.” (Sex joke)
I texted him privately and said “why would you say that.” The next day I even brought up how uncomfortable I was. He said “I’m sorry I’ll try to do better.” (Same day as the penis joke btw)

So every time I have a problem with him and his comments he always says he’ll change and do better but he NEVER does. I’m just tired of being anxious every time I bring him somewhere. And I’ve talked to him so many times about this.

We are currently in a fight over something he said this weekend and I’m just so tired and I’ve asked him so many times to change. He sent me an apology over not taking me seriously.

I think I might want to break things off with him but I’m scared and I don’t know how that will go for me because I do really love him I’m just tired of living
like this and I’m scared of the thought of being with someone else. :(

Please give advice.

(Is it okay to breakup with him over this? Or do I give him an ultimatum and I’ll give him one more chance.)

I am an incoming sophomore transfer and was wondering how I could make some friends!

For dorms my top 2 are Bousfield and Scott since they are transfer communities. I also have a couple backups in case I don’t get into both.

I also am interested in rushing a sorority. If someone could lmk how Greek life is at uiuc that would be amazing!
