Painting Care

Picked this up today at GW. I believe it’s a reproduction of Return of the Prodigal son. The back seems to be missing? Replaced? But the nails are still in it. Anyway, was curious if it’s okay to hang like this or if I should get it reframed?

Beaded Bag-Saks Fifth Avenue Made in Paris

I found this bag at the antique store rather than the thrift store, but I thought it was very cute. Inside is stained a bit but the outside looks pretty good. I love the pictures on top.

Wild Strawberries

I know they aren’t ripe but I am so excited. This is the first year that I have actually seen fruit on them. Now to keep away the critters so I can actually taste one (eventually).

Boston Cream Pie (Mom’s Favorite)

Hey all! I saw someone post a pic of their Boston Cream Pie not too long ago and they mentioned they used King Arthur’s recipe. Since that is my mom’s favorite cake, I decided to see if I could make it for Mother’s Day. I was a bit nervous because I’ve never made it before, but the recipe wasn’t complicated. Overall, I’m happy with the outcome and my mom really enjoyed it. Happy Mother’s Day!
