What has helped?

Please no suggestion of surgery! I don't want to be cut open.

What has helped with prolonged bleeding? I'm peri and gave fibroids that shrunk a bit after ufe, either they missed one or a new one is growing.

I want to manage periods. I'm on the mini pill (norenthdine) pack 5, still prolonged bleeding way past my regular period. I know they say this sucker takes 6 months to adjust.

Please tell me what has been helpful for you!

update: not sure why I'm being downvoted. Why would someone be so petty as to downvote someone who is llooking for management options?

i am looking for a way to manage symptoms namely the prolonged bleeding until menopause. Thought this place was supportive, not everyone wants to do open surgery. I don't want to have to take off multiple days of work.

Also, some women are not candidates of simpler lap or vaginal hysterectomy or myo surgeries, some of us have to be cut open and that can lead to complications and longer recovery times.

Thank you for the suggestions.

Love this reddit space!

Just wanted to say, I love this reddit space so much!

There are so many neurodivergent black women like me on here and it feels like home. I find myself glancing at all these thread titles and I'm like "Yup, I can relate with your quirky asses."

We are out there.

Cheesy post, just wanted to share!

Special Instructions blocked

Is there a reason why some restaurants don't allow special instructions?

What if someone has an allergy or so? Because they would be ever so accommodating if you sat in the restaurant.

New neighbor anxiety

Oh my goodness, does anybody in here get new neighbor anxiety?

Good Lord, a dwelling never seems to stay vacant long here, ugh. It's always nice when they are empty.

A certain dwelling (a rental) near me was empty for what felt like a couple of weeks and all of a sudden I see people moving in. Hope they are not annoying, that's the first thing that crosses my mind.

Hate when someone parks next to me...

I hate when I'm in a parking lot, alone in my thoughts and some fool parks next to me.

Like of all places, why near me?

Then they have the nerve to gawk at you upon getting out of their car.

What's up with these repeat winners?

What's with these winners not just winning once or twice but damn a gazillion times in a row? This has been happening lately.

I find myself rooting for the underdogs. I get so happy when some random knocks out the winner. anybody else feel this way?.

They love to stare

Ever notice how a certain race of woman is always staring? Have they not been thought manners that it is rude to stare?

I can't ever go out to a restaurant, move in public without one of those women staring.

If a man is staring I assume he likes what he sees, with this certain race of woman I see it as hostile. Anyone else feel this way?

That same stupid blank expression, tight lipped state. I stare them back making them look dumb. Maybe give them that Edy Silva stare (look him up lol). They really are some insecure beings.

Invitations to social gatherings feel like invasions

I feel like I got more introverted as I get older. Anyone else feel this way? Maybe it was the era I grew up in, way more fun than today.

I use to go to parties, enjoyed them, but now I'm content sitting at home watching MrBallen videos, checking out Reddit, and such lol.

I feel like if a friend wants to go somewhere I just don't want to go, feels like an invasion.

Anyone else feel this way? Not sure why I'm being down voted (how weird) I am asking has anyone become more introverted with age and feel like socialization is a chore now?

Proliferation of corporate owned rental units ruining neighborhoods

Does anybody hate it when you are living in an area as a homeowner and then all of a sudden there is this sudden profileration of rental units owned by corporations? I realize the most annoying neighbors I've ever had lived in these types of properties.

They don't properly vet these tenants or they attract people who don't give a damn about the neighborhood.

I hate these rental corporations so much. Private landlords are one thing but when it's corporations, they damage neighborhoods.

No dude you won't win brownie points trashing busty women

Don't you just love when someone creates a thread asking "why do men love big breasts so much" and then there are guys who have to tear down busty lovelies to make insecure women feel better? I'm like dude stop, you are not winning any points, you can state your love of small boobs without attacking busty women.

It's unacceptable to trash less endowed women but people feel the need to bash us! Very annoying.

What's with the negative and woe is me attitude threads on here?

My God reading some of these threads makes it seem that many women just hate themselves. Please grow some confidence. So much negativity. I get it's a safe space by my goodness, you get fussed at just because you can't identify with the downer energy.

I was born black, curvaceous, beautiful and damn proud of it. Stand in the mirror and tell yourself that and work on improving your charisma and assertiveness. I know I will get downvoted but I don't care, I've posted my piece.
