Badalassi Carlo Pueblo is one of my favorite leathers to work with.

Been working with Badalassi Carlo Pueblo lately and really like how this leather develops character. This one is hand-cut and saddle stitched with an open-hole snap design.
What do you guys look for most in a wallet — the leather, construction, stitching, or overall design?

Experimenting with hand-marbled leather on a minimalist wallet. Thoughts?

I’ve been experimenting with marbling vegetable-tanned leather to make every wallet one of a kind instead of relying on printed patterns.
I’m looking for honest design feedback. What works, what doesn’t, and what would you change?

What makes a minimalist wallet feel “premium” to you?

I’ve been designing and handcrafting minimalist leather wallets, and I’m always trying to improve the design rather than just the appearance.
This one is made from full-grain Herman Oak vegetable-tanned leather with a hand-marbled finish. It carries 8–10 cards plus folded cash while keeping a slim profile.
I’m curious what matters most to you in an everyday wallet:
Capacity or the thinnest possible design?
Traditional leather or modern materials like titanium/carbon fiber?
Elastic band, snap, magnets, or no closure at all?
What feature do you wish more minimalist wallets had?
I’d appreciate honest feedback from people who are into thoughtful everyday carry design.

Handmade Herman Oak and Hand-Marbled Leather Wallet - Looking for Feedback

I recently finished this wallet using Herman Oak and hand-marbled
leather.Wanted to share it with fellow leather craftsman .
Everything was cut, assembled, and finished by hand in my workshop. The marbled leather creates a unique pattern, so no two wallets will ever look exactly the same. I designed it to be compact enough for everyday carry while still holding cards and folded cash securely.
As a small leathercraft business, I'm always looking to improve my products and presentation. I'd love to hear your honest feedback on the design, craftsmanship, and overall look.

Thanks for taking a look!

La Perla Azzurra Camo Wallet I Made — Thoughts on the Design?

Would you rather have the belt strap holder or keep the back cleaner?

Do the two snaps and lanyard hole make this more useful, or too much hardware?

What would you expect to pay for something like this?

Round flap or straight flap? Which closing style do you prefer?

I’m deciding between two closing flap styles for a new wallet design and wanted to get a feel for what people prefer.
Both are made with quality Italian leather:
• La Bretagna Leather, Camouflage, Jungle
• Badalassi Carlo Minerva Smooth Vacchetta, Ortensia - Turquoise & Yellow
Which flap style do you think looks better?
• Round flap
• Straight flap
I’d love to hear which one you’d choose and why — style, function, or overall vibe.

Thanks

Need honest feedback on two finish styles

Looking for honest feedback on these two finishes—same Badalassi Carlo Pueblo veg tan, same wallet pattern, but two different looks. One was finished inside and out with Tokonole, and the color bands are different on purpose. Which finish do you prefer, and what stands out to you most

Experimenting with slim stick-on phone wallets using 3oz Badalassi Carlo leather

These are prototype slim stick-on phone wallets I’ve been testing for a more minimal EDC setup. They’re handmade and hand saddle stitched using 3oz full-grain Badalassi Carlo Italian leather, and the goal was to keep them thin enough for everyday carry while still comfortably holding 2 cards.
I’ve been experimenting with different leather combinations and finishes to compare durability, patina, and how well they age over time. The camo versions especially turned out better than expected.
I’d love to hear which leather combo people think looks best, and any thoughts on what makes a stick-on wallet actually useful versus just novelty.

Trying out some new leather combinations for slim phone wallets. Handmade, saddle stitched, and built for 2-card carry. Curious which one r/Wallets likes best.

Been working on a slimmer everyday carry and came up with this. Veg-tanned leather, hand-stitched, with a simple snap flap to keep everything secure.

The back is a quick-access slot, and there’s a pocket inside for cards/cash. I kept the design minimal but added the two-tone look (black + yellow ) for a bit of contrast.

I’m pretty happy with how clean it came out.

Would you carry something like this or prefer a more traditional bifold?
