I teach private lessons from the comfort of your home or online! I can come to you with all supplies needed, no experience necessary. I focus mostly on senior citizens and adults living with chronic illness. I teach drawing and painting in several different media, including graphite, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, and ink. I gifted this to my neighbors who are always giving us produce from their beautiful garden.

This memorial piece is mostly acrylic markers and ink, but when I got to the human portrait, those materials just weren’t cutting it for me. I slapped on a coat of clear gesso and added gouache! Phew!

I’m really enjoying working in Oil Pastel!

The reference photo wasn’t great, so I kept it loose. I did an underpainting in acrylic, added a layer of clear gesso, then oil pastels on top.
