Please help ID. I’m assuming that it’s some kind of Swallowtail. It was huge and I couldn’t get the best picture. South Florida.

I was given 2 milkweed plants four days ago and unknowingly one of them had this caterpillar on it. It hasn’t stopped eating and has grown at least four times its size since then.

I’m a newbie at raising Monarchs. I bought 4 milkweed plants yesterday and today I witnessed this egg being laid.

My 10.5 foot sunflower snapped during a heavy South Florida rain storm.

It was already supported by two 8’ metal stakes. So I attached a third 8’ metal stake to the existing two about halfway up so that I could support the very top of the plant. Desperate times calls for desperate measures so I used electrical tape directly on the stalk to secure it to the stakes. So far so good, wish me luck. 😜🌻

Could someone please clean up the bee and the white halo around it so that it’s clear to see? Thank you.
