We talk about winrates but there's no way such pick rates can be healthy for the game
This is taken from EU Diamond, going up they only get bigger, it's completely ridiculous, the situation is similar in America as well.

I decided to try playing him but I can't aim for shit. I have like 60% accuracy on Luna but I max out at 25 for Rocket. I know he's not hitscan but his projectiles are so weird.
Or maybe not joining them at all and straight up retopo?
Basically the title. I'm making a character and for now I have head and body mesh. He'll be dressed in a skin-tight suit with potentially some hard surface details (think some armour plates, elbow-pads, etc.). I'm not exactly sure what my workflow should be after the body - do I sculpt/model all his details and accessories and then retopologize, or do I do so before and and then kind of low(er?) poly model them on top?
I'm buying a laptop for uni and for rendering and I noticed that the base model has 16gb, which is too little for me. The seller however offers a modified version sold with 24gb, I assume they just put one 8gb stick in there, but I'm worried about potentially introducing problems, since I need to be able to fully utilise a big chunk of the ram at once for projects.
For reference it has Ryzen 7 260
Minji Chang recently released a version of the PL trailer voiced by her, since apparently they released the original trailer about a year AFTER she had started working on the VO for the project, without even telling her. She even thought they had just quietly replaced her.
She wasn't invited to Phantom Liberty launch events, unlike other cast members such as Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves. (From her Reddit AMA)
Hell the game copy sent to her didn't even include active Phantom Liberty code for her region. (IIRC it was mentioned on stream but you can also reference this comment)
I think this is a huge oversight on CDPRs part and really unfair treatment, when SoMi was just as important as Reed. I'm finding out about that just now and it's quite appalling the negligence non high profile actors are trated with.
Edit: here's the trailer with her voice: https://youtu.be/efH164PRKB4?is=hL1x-WEsWnIRW1AX
There's currently no official written statement about her payment, so I apologise for that claim, if anyone can provide a transcript of a video or interview I'll link it, otherwise assume that as false.
I'm contemplating buying the summer pass since it goes away after 4h, but the more I look at the skin the more I realize her default looks so amazing that I don't really want another. Also IMO the summer one looks goofy in-game with so much of her ass hanging out. The racer one is also kind of whatever.
I've noticed that recently Blizzard has started buffing abilities around breakpoints, which Rein's 54% WR has to show how healthy for the game it is. Now they've done it again with Ana's Nade. They added the anti heal passive to all characters as well. I feel like it's starting to get a little overwhelming. Today I had 3 QP games in a row where both supports pump the tank full time and he still can't get out of spawn. I have no problem with losses, I don't get mad at games usually, but what really pushes me over the edge are games where you feel like you have absolutely no agency whatsoever. I think they've become way too comfortable with oneshots being part of kits, especially noticeable now that the old Hog is back as well and apparently has no intention of leaving.
I'm playing more and more behind cover for full games and I don't know if I find it very enjoyable anymore, it's honestly starting to feel like Valorant. It's not that I need to take cover to have advantage in a fight anymore, it's more of each of these 5 heroes can kill me with a single ability so I NEED to hide to have any chance to survive for more than 2s. I miss more open fights and more agency in counterplay.
I've been playing him for such a long time already and I still massively struggle to hit anything that's not 5m ahead, I basically need about 3 tries to curve a ball around a corner because I can't gauge the distance. It's really dire and sad because he's my favourite character.
bet he got some good implants 🤤
At this point it's getting ridiculous how real hitbox powercreep is. The biggest hitboxes almost exclusively belong to older characters. Just from the beginning of this year we've had only skinny characters. Domina is the only immobile big hitbox hero we've had and she's a tank.
Anran - Tracer sized, fast, jumps high, ridiculous mobility, invulnerability, throws up VFX
Cat - tiny, flying, fast (probably the easiest to hit from this list)
Mizuki - also skinny and fast
Emre - probably the biggest hitbox we've had on a DPS and he's only Soldier sized
Sierra - absolutely ridiculous size hitbox, with her bobble when strafing, just disgustingly hard to hit
Shion - larger than the previous ones but not nearly the size of something like Echo, has a million mobility cooldowns, overhealth, etc.
Let's go back now:
Vendetta - skinny hitbox, fast as shit, flying through the air half the time, breaking her spine on every hit, looks like inflatable tube man when attacking (and has the hitbox to show for it)
Wuyang - also really small hitbox and fast as hell
Freja - here things weren't so annoying so she has a bit bigger hitbox
Other older ones like Juno and Illari, KIRIKO (who keeps her damn hand in front of her face) are notoriously hard to hit as well. Not one of these characters has even come closer to 200hp, and size/mobility/health relation doesn't seem to be a factor in Blizzard's design philosophy anymore (looking at you Anran).
The new support will also likely be a stick-inspired omnic with 10 kinds of mobility who wobbles around when attacking. At some point the game is going to be so saturated that not playing a skinny asian girl will be akin to throwing.
I came back to the game for Tier 3 since he's my favourite character, but seems he's left out of Tier 4 for months as well.
I've seen all the weird things authors think of like MC being deaf and can only hear his love interest, or see, or the only one he can sleep next to, or his scent or whatever weird ass plot they think of. Not to mention the entire plethora of "I'm not gay but I can try guys ig". I'm wondering why is it so bad for them to just be gay and their meeting to be more about the circumstances and how they develop relationships instead of trying to build attraction from nothing between 2 "straight" guys?
