I have a rather new account with very limited dust and cards to disenchant, and found the idea of the Animal Companions pretty interesting.

But Confront the Tol'Vir is dead, which I feel will take a big toll on Broll Bearmantle and will also render Niri of the Crater useless 😕

How do I pivot the only Standard deck I have / have dust for?

Id love to continue playing it even if not the best

I know this is an age-old question for every deck builder globally, but I was wondering if anyone had come across a great tool or community to help you balance your decks?

I have 5 decks, all should be about high-Bracket 2 (even though one is meaner than the rest).

Thing is, to me, Ramp & Draw are like the 2 main thing a deck needs for it to feel great.

But I have always had issues with balancing those aspects correctly without affecting your gameplan, and the tools that we have available online, from those I have found like Commander Template, ArcMind, Manatap, etc, they all seem to think the same.

So pretty much what my best guess is how do I feel about the decks. But that data is skewed as I am not the best deck builder out there.

• Out of my 5 decks, I'd say the one that feels the best is probably my [[Slimefoot and Squee]]
• My 5 colors [[Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact]] feels like it really needs more ramp, even though most tools I pass the deck in seem to think its in a decent spot.
• My Faeries [[Maralen]] deck feels like it needs more ramp and card draw, but again the tools seem to be saying its okay
• My [[K'rrik]] deck is doing really fine mana-wise even though every deck builder tool is giving me warnings.

So, if anyone has some tips or tricks or tools for me, I'd be super interested.

A lot of great sets have been released in the last couple of years, Strixhaven, Tarkir, Lorwyn, Final Fantasy, etc.

What precons are fun, not necessarily great, but fun precons people enjoy playing and playing against, and would be great to get for 2 new players to the game that will not be deck building for a little while?

I'd prefer getting precons that are on the newer side. I know Hakbal is great, but I've seen him a lot and I want to take the opportunity to discover new decks with them 🙂

Just came back to the game after a hiatus of playing... older versions...

Back when I played, spamming trade chat for signatures was the go-to or just spamming the sign charter on newly made characters until you got lucky.

But nowadays, I have a feeling that its no longer the way to go to not annoy other people.

What is the best approach for this?

Planning on resubbing to the game after a long hiatus, my goal isn't to do Midnight for a long time nor raid or do dungeons.

I just wanna quest peacefully and maybe work on Loremaster while I'm at it.

So, trying to check online the order in which the novels should be read, and there seems to be 2 prevalent orders in which they should be read: Story Handle (found on another Reddit post) or Chronological (according to some lists/Claude)

Which order would you recommend reading all the books in?

I feel like the Chronological order would make more sense in the sense of following the story properly, no? I dont understand why Dawn of the Aspects is so late in the first list.

Looking for some MTG Singles shops on O'ahu

Hello!

Arriving today for a 2 week vacation, I brought some Commander decks with me and was looking for a shop that sells singles to complete one of my decks.

I know there are a lot of card shops on O'ahu, are there any that have a big collection of MTG singles to buy from or is it pretty much only sealed products?

Cards like [[Blood Artist]], [[Morbid Opportunist]] and other payoffs when any creature dies, since Vren exiles opponents cards, are they still worth running if they only affect your own creatures?

I like the idea of Vren as I can run a strong removal package and get tokens out of it that gets bigger and bigger.

But instead of filling the deck with Rats, which looks also like a decent approach, I feel like I would like to have life drain or draw effects when my stuff dies so I can sac/block with my rats and get value out of those effects.

The rat tokens themselves seem to become big enough on their own?

I was recently trying to see if I could convert my Orzhov deck into a token deck. Thing is, most decent Orzhov decks that create tokens have like a million of different tokens in it, between Vampires, Inklings, Soldiers, Spirits and all that other stuff, since Orzhov mainly wants token generations to drain life / sac them instead of caring about what type of token they are.

Something that can potentially be played high B2-low B3 🙂

I've been playing on Whitemane but the population is rather low and I would rather play somewhere where the world is a tad more active.

How's ChromieCraft's hardcore pop?
