These numbers are just disappointing for such a unique game. 305k copies sold on PS5, and it's not even top 10 on Steam and Xbox, meaning it sold less than 300k on PC and less than 170k on Xbox.
Meanwhile look at the games on the top of the list. It's like gamers only want slop.
Sometimes when you level up in Mortal Shell 2, you gain basically nothing. Seriously, why is it like this? Leveling up in games should feel satisfying, but here you often get such minuscule improvements that you barely even notice them. I hate it. I wish we could at least get a shell point at regular levels.

So representation in art has never been a negative for me. I actually like it. But I can't help but notice there has been a significant decline in "wokeness/woke elements/whatever" across games, movies, shows, and even advertisements recently.
Were the grifters kind of right that corporations were just using "progressive messaging" as a way to make money and capitalize on the trend? And they didn't actually care about representation? Or did they just stop because of the extreme backlash?

The more I read about it, the more I get jealous tbh. Apparently it's gonna have more than 10 characters at launch and multiple maps each the size of Limveld with tons of verticality. The matches are gonna be 25-30 minute long too. I always felt Nightreign runs felt a bit too long. There are no reused assets as well. All of this along with the insane character mobilty, abilities, and aerial combat just makes me wish Nightreign could've been something more. Oh well, at least it's nice to see Fromsoft improving so fast with each game. I hope we get Nightreign 2 one day.

The updates for this game are over. It would be nice if we can freely discuss about m-o-d-s for this game in here. There are so many good ones out by now that even let you play with other players online. For example: More map variations on Nexus, that adds tons of new content and lets you play with other random players online who're also using it.
I really don't understand what's the harm in allowing us to talk about them, especially now when the game is done with updates.
I don't understand what's happening to the entertainment industry. Every good series/movie/show/videogame/piece of art is becoming progressive and getting ruined. What the heck is happening to this world and why is it happening now? The Odyssey was already too much and now this.
Seeing lots of threads here recently about dlc or future content ideas/concepts for Nightreign. Just wanted to remind you all the life cycle for this game is over. Daydreaming about more Nightreign content is like daydreaming about more Bloodborne content. It's not gonna happen.

I was browsing latest screenshots on Steam and barely 2k players are playing this game right now on PC. And it has only a total of 4k reviews. I genuinely have never seen this kind of low numbers outside obscure indie games that flop. Seriously, what happened with Nioh 3? Did they not market it enough? This is crazy.
We're all like Kolibris are smol and cute, Falke is my tall mom, Eules are the best frens, but we don't realize these replikas live in a literal hell with constant fear of underperforming their duties, and getting killed and replaced by the order of their overlords. There is also constant surveillance, your mind can literally be read, and so many strict rules. It must be so shit living in a society like this. It's kinda sad we could do nothing about this in the game.
