Armadillo digging in broad daylight

This dude didn’t seem to flinch when I went out to shoo it away from digging in my back yard.

Huh, evidently someone has been in here before….

Removed a door panel today and based on the dried blood left on the interior panel, someone had been inside the door before me. I’m always cutting myself when working on a car but I also wipe down everything when putting it back together 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sometimes you win…

I wasn’t certain that I was going to get this broken bolt out…. I had a nut and the wire feed welder ready to go if needed…. a steel chisel, hammer and a little patience worked out.

$&”#%* Rodents

Just rolled into my garage…. I have no idea how the little bastard got into the air box…glad it didn’t get sucked into the turbo. 🤬

Need help with realistic value - mods please remove if not allowed

Hey all, I am in need of help in determining a realistic, fair market value for this rifle. Here's the specs:

M1A in .308, upgraded springs, spring guide, ebr trigger shoe, less than 100 rounds down the tube.

Sage EBR chassis - manufactured before the US Tactical acquisition

Sage quick disconnect scope mount

Lucid MLX scope

12 magazines, Voodoo range bag with all the extras, slings, etc.

I truly appreciate all input.

Thanks

General thoughts on spoke covers?

Just as the heading states: I'm curious what the general thoughts are regarding wheel spoke covers. I've seen quite a few motorcycles now that had colored spoke covers installed...... both on dual-sport and street motorcycles.

Opinions Welcomed… timing belt replacement

I purchased a 2012 FIAT Abarth about 18 months ago, currently the car has just over 29,000:miles on it (I bout it from the original owner with just 23k miles). The car is due for a timing belt replacement based on age, not accumulated miles. Under typical guidance for timing belt replacement (100k miles) I would replace the
Belt AND water pump but with the low miles on the car is the water pump replacement necessary? I will still plan to renew the timing belt and replace the water pump at the 100k mile maintenance interval. Only OEM parts would be installed.

All suggestions/ opinions are welcome

Viking Funeral

Okay, I know this sounds absurd but it’s a genuine question. For years I’ve told my family that when I pass it’s okay to put my remains in a cardboard box and light it on fire. This narrative switched about 5 years ago (at the time I owned rural property with a small sized tree lined pond (about the size of a football field) and I told my family that I wanted a “Viking Funeral”……. Just place my remains in one of my remains on hay bales, add an accelerant (ie alcohol or something similar), push it away from shore and trigger a device (flaming arrows would be cool but since my kids have zero archery experience it would be an epic failure) to light the makeshift “boat” and let it burn until it sinks (along with my remains)….. when I say “remains” I mean my already cremated ashes. From there, the celebration of life (ie party) can begin. When I pass I don’t want a formal funeral, I want friends and loved ones to gather for an intimate get-together and I want people to talk about the silly things I have done and how in some crazy way the attendees are all connected…… I want people to laugh and have fun , I want people to laugh, tell stories and just have fun. I truly want people to leave and say “ well, that was a different experience, it seemed pretty crazy, I’ll likely never experience that again…..”

So how realistic is this? I would absolutely pre plan and pre test in some way to ensure the execution of what I had planned. I’m pretty certain that I would be violating some laws….. anyway, roast me as you wish. Blessings!

2016 Hobie Adventure Island value - thoughts?

I’m considering the purchase of a used 2016 Hobie AI. The boat appears to be in great shape and comes with a trailer. The owner bought the boat “ new” in 2020 (meaning that had been sitting for 4 years before being sold). The owner has passed away and the boat is being stored. The boat is clean and overall in very good condition. What’s a fair value for the boat and trailer? I have no desire to rip off a widow but I can’t afford to overpay for something. I appreciate thoughts and input.
