Been playing since chapter 1, and never once has he-if the voice is indeed Gaster- seemed any sort of antagonistic, evil, etc. I notice the fandom treats him as this generally malevolent entity who is pulling the strings, but his goals seem mutually aligned with ours from what little we know? He even directly encourages us when we die In chapter one, “the future is in your hands” and says that, what essentially seems to be the roaring, will result if we give up. He clearly doesn’t want that to happen. He also encourages us and directly gives us advice during the knight fight, eluding to needing the shadow mantle if you don’t have it or don’t have it equipped, and praising us if we get far enough in the fight but die. He consistently is impressed with our actions and seems to be on our side. Why does the fandom treat him like he’s evil? Am I missing something?

Hey all. Got Hogwarts legacy on Epic Games however long ago when they were giving it away for free. Finally decided to install and give it a try. On first launch, I was able to make it all the way to the options and account linking screen, where I was given the notifications for getting a ton of cosmetics as well. It crashed shortly after, and ever since, the game will not boot past the Photosensitivity warning. I've tried numerous fixes online. From deleting the shader caches to allowing the game through my firewall, etc etc etc. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

Im on windows 10, using an AMD RX7600. The game is installed on an SSD. If anyone needs any further info that would help resolve the issue, please ask. I'd very much like to play the game.

Edit: I took advantage of the steam sale to purchase the game on steam as its infrastructure that I'm more comfortable working in (Epic Games fucking sucks), hopefully that will either help or resolve the issue.

Not like “oh it’s the one most people know” or “oh it’s my favorite.” What song, to you, distills the complete essence of the duo down into a single song?

For me, it’s Sixtyniner. It feels perfect as an introduction piece for the duo. It’s got the mournful synths, the vocal samples, and plenty of instrumental layers. whenever I want to introduce someone to BOC, I almost always pick Sixtyniner.

Other ideas I’ve had for ones are 5.9.78, Turquoise Hexagon Sun, or Peacock tail.

What do you guys think?

Using Pebblehost to host a server for me and my gf and a few friends. We cant disable spawn protection though, theres no spawn protection line in server properties, and i cant figure out any other ways to disable it. any help?

My girlfriend recently purchased a Cyberpower PC from Best Buy. It’s liquid cooled in an MA-01 case. These fans will NOT quiet down. From the moment we press the power button, they’re going full speed instantly. All of them. We’ve tried setting them to pwm in the bios. I’ve installed drivers in some hope that would help, because even the GPU fans are running full speed while both GPU and CPU utilization never go above 5%. I’ve taken a peek and poked around inside, and everything is wired correctly best I can find. So every other post I’ve run into online, and the fixes they’ve provided, have not worked. We’ve set it to pwm, we’ve set fan curves, everything is wired right. She’s considering returning it because there doesn’t seem to be a fix. Fans shouldn’t be running at 1700rpm when there’s not even a single program running.
