I can't figure out where this shading issue comes from. (please read description)

The affected faces are planar, normals are reset and correctly oriented.

No matter what I do, the shading abruptly cuts like this on both of those "fluff strings". They follow the same geometry as other "fluff strings" on the very same object, but only those 2 in particular are shaded in this weird way.

Resetting crease doesn't fix it. Clearing sharp doesn't fix it. Doing both of those at the same time doesn't fix it. Adding a loop doesn't fix it. Hell, when I apply subdiv modifier and try rearranging the geometry manually, I can't get rid of this anomaly no matter what.

I'm planning to rig, pose and render the model, this is a part of a bigger piece. I want to avoid leaving such weirdness on it.

How to motivate chinchillas to eat?

An emergency happened and I had to move my boys from their room to a different one, and a smaller cage. They will return to their own cage in 2-3 days, but...they really really dislike the change.

They both aren't really eager to eat, maybe a bite here and there. I think the new environment stresses them.

Any way I can make them feel safer and encourage eating? They're both 9 if that helps.

I'm so lost. The exotic vet isn't helping.

My boy is 8-9 years old. Recently he started to sniffle really loudly and make those "huff puff" noises, but only when he's actively running, playing and sniffing around. Occasionally coughing / sneezing.

It initially scared me immensely, since there was no build up leading to such drastic change. I just one day let them out, and suddenly he's very loud. I monitored them for a day - no change in behavior, eating, drinking, pooping, playing. I took him to the vet the next morning.

They prescribed vitamins and meds against swelling, saying he most likely has an upper airway irritation. I returned to them after a week of no change.

I made a decision to hospitalize him, since they had such an option. At this point I was convinced he has some developing airway infection.

They were giving him antibiotics and inhalation for 5 days. After that, I picked him up, finished the last 2 days of antibiotics and continued with anti inflammatory medication.

He was better for like 3-4 days after I got him back, but he was also recovering from antibiotics. For a week it looked like the situation improved, and almost went back to normal.

And today, after letting him out...I hear him huffing, puffing and sneezing again. As if the whole hospitalization, antibiotics and whatnot never happened...

I'm going to the vet tomorrow, again, but I'm genuinely lost.

Details:

He's active, playing, eating pellets and hay, his poops went to normal, he's drinking. His breathing issues show only when he's running around, he's completely silent when just sitting still or sleeping. There's no discharge from mouth or nose. Vet said his teeth look normal. After he returned from the exotic vet's hospital, I gave him only one very short bath 3 days ago. I explicitly asked if I could, they said yes, I made it quick.

What can I say tell my vet tomorrow? They saw him 3 times already, kept him for 5 days. Nothing had changed. It's like we're stuck in a loop...

M4 Banyue - save for Dialyn or grab Norma?

I got M4W1 (aiming to get M6 on a rerun) and Lucia M0W1. Unfortunately I got baited into pulling for Fufu Fraud early into the version, and that's my stunner for his squad. I couldn't get Dialyn on her first appearance either...

I really don't enjoy the lingerie toddler design that Norma has, but I need to know if she's gonna be better for Ban than Dialyn to make a conscious decision this time. Instead of listening to my "I like this, I dislike that" instincts.
