“Dipped in Gin is just how i like it!”

Felt and looks like the desert currently, when will it rain!
This is our local common and have never seen it so dry. We normally cross the stream by the bridge by stepping on the stones that are there, usually ending up with wet feet. The steam has gone and the water that is left there further upstream is starting to stink.
Poor Pabsy has to wait till the evening too to get his second walk in when it’s cooled down a bit. Destroys the house until then!

(When i climb on the table dad doesn’t seem to mind and just takes pictures, mum goes mad! Glad she’s gone out!)

Pabsy has never been known to be shy so is taking full advantage of the hot weather.

Bit of a chill day today for Pablo as it’s still so hot so most of it will be spent asleep on the garden furniture, under a parasol.

He seems very content with the idea of doing f*** all!

My wife told me yesterday that every day this week (it’s been blisteringly hot) when she has finished work Pabsy turns up at the sink for a bowl of water.
Witnessed it today for myself.
She pours him a bowl from the hose there and he gets stuck straight in. Plenty of other bowls of water available but seems it’s his new thing.

Too hot for doggies to go out but apparently the kitchen table is nice and cool. And the view is good.

So he can go outside to drink rainwater off the table. Comes back in, barks at the door again to go out for a widdle!

Looked up from the garden furniture and he is asleep on the hard wooden dining table!

Quick 1 minute video of Pabsy, on the table, having a Trance up. I’m fascinated by it and wonder why they do it.
Look at the way he constantly adjusts his feet. He’s been there for about ten minutes now, completely zoned out 😂

We are sat outside, had two Fab lollies and threw the wooden sticks in the bushes. Pabsy is hunting them down to give them a final lick, incase we missed anything.

(Couldn’t get him to move so figured missing one walk wouldn’t really hurt, and upside down time is good for the soul!)

I’m now stuck here and have things to do. Have to savour these moments though. ❤️

(He loves climbing and manoeuvres the chairs in order to get onto the dining table!

Actually this week made a bridge with a chair and got to the grapes we keep on the kitchen island; supposedly out of his way. Trip to the vets and they made him bring them up.
36 seedless grapes, not one of them chewed which actually did him a favour. Then he brought one more up in the car on the way home. No more grapes in the house now, taking this incident as a warning.

Back into mums arms for a cuddle that night.)

Came downstairs to this. What i’d give to be able to sleep like this boy does, he certainly puts in the effort!
