Hello, I have recently decided to be DM for my group, we plan to play through “a wild sheep chase”, a popular one-shot. However when I went to read it to make sure I knew the source material, I noticed it said “a fourth and fifth level experience”, does this mean they start at level 4?, or that it goes to level 5. And do I get my players to create their characters in advance or at the session.

Hey yall, I’m currently planning to be DM for a one shot [edit: I might do a two-shot instead, so if you guys have recommendations for DM beginner friendly two-shots, please tell me] I have a few friends down for, but I don’t know how I go around doing it, I’m asking what I will need (such as the rules, handbooks etc) and how to start it in general (I’m not asking how to be a dm, I’m asking how to start the adventure)

I have never been a dungeon master before, I have only played in a couple of campaigns made by the DM, (and a bit of baldurs gate 3 if that counts), and I’m really interested in being the dungeon master, however I don’t own any of the story sets (I think they are called that?) so I can’t do a pre-set campaign. I’m fine with spending time writing my own story, but what do I need to do in order to start being a DM?

Hey, I just got a audio interface and pirated neural dsp today, I have been playing around with a few archetypes, I want to use the Tom morello archetype, but I cannot find it on any websites at all, if anyone can send me a download for it, I would heavily appreciate it

I’ve been playing bass for around 4 months now, and I think I’m getting decent at it, I’ve been playing along to basic lines (my favourite being kids with guns by gorillaz and stablizers for big boys by Panchiko) but I want to play a tab that’s a bit more complex, (something that’s faster etc.)

I have recently been debating my gender, and I notice that all the trans people I know have long hair, but I on the other hand literally have a buzz cut (I prefer the shortness), but how does being trans with shorter hair feel?, I know this sounds really stupid but please do tell
