vinyl voices (ambient jam)

A couple of decades ago a good friend with a fairly extensive vinyl collection gave me around 1000 acapellas to play with, and around a year ago I spent a month sampling these acapellas, as I wanted to use them with granular synthesis with the Tempera (synth). So in the end I sampled maybe 300 acapellas (1 or 2 seconds each) and grouped them by what note they were in. So when I play the Tempera throughout this track it is randomly sampling maybe 150 different acapellas which gives it an orchestral type of sound. Most of what I do is improv but not on this occasion as I have been dabbling with this track for a few years and this was the first time I got to play it. I'll be giving this away free on my Bandcamp if anyone wants a copy? https://splitad.bandcamp.com/

Scrooge x Elmyra 2

Just thought i'd post this here as i'm using a couple of your devices, thanks for making them. The Elmyra 2 is easily my most used synth, I love it, and i'm just about getting to grips with the Scrooge, it gives the sound a subtle glitchiness. Other devices used in this jam were the LXR02, Microcosm, M+, NABC+, Plinky and the Noodlebox sequencer.

muddy blue overdrive

Hi, I unintentionally mapped the colour blue on my video synth to what must be a high pass filter on a random reese patch I made, when it lets all the frequencies through it tends to over power all the other synth sounds and distort everything, it will go blue on the screen when it does this, it will sound cleaner the more red on the screen, it's kinda nice to let the 200 hz frequencies have a fight now and then and then sidechain it all with a kick, I'd recommend headphones as it's all improv and might damage your speakers? oh and have a lovely weekend.
