Usually, after about 5 minutes of driving, the temperature gauge reaches the first line, which is the normal operating temperature. But lately, I’ve noticed that even after driving for half an hour, it still doesn’t reach the normal temp. is this okay??
I’ve been using the Maxwell 2 for a month now after using the Nova Pro Wireless for about 4.5 years, I was able to sell it for $175 and keeping the AM2 for $425 (Dekoni sheepskin included).
Sound: The NVP doesn’t sound good with the default EQ, so using the EQ presets for each game helps improve the sound. For competitive FPS games, both headsets have good footstep tracking, but the Maxwell 2 is on another level for Music & Media and single player games, the sound is much more detailed and immersive, especially in games I usually play a lot like POE2, Dota2, hades 1/2, witcher 3.
Comfort: Neither headset is very comfortable for long sessions with the stock pads. The leatherette pads can get hot on the ears and drivers touching my ears. Switching to third-party pads solved this issue for me. For the AM2, the Dekoni sheepskin pads are like magic. They’re extremely comfortable, even after a LOOOOOONG gaming session. They also completely eliminated the moisture buildup around the drivers for me, which even the WC stealthz pads couldn’t fix.
Battery and Other Features: The NVP has the edge here because it has swappable batteries. It also offers a lot of useful features, such as simultaneous Bluetooth (i dont use), Sonar’s video auto-clip feature (i dont use), and the ability to use two different EQ settings simultaneously. For example, you can have one EQ for Youtube Music and a different EQ for your game playing at the same time.
Hi AW2 owners, after the latest updates, is it now safe to buy the Maxwell 2? What issues should I expect, if any. I'm on the fence right now. Returning products from my region is costly, so I want to make sure.
I'm just a gamer dad looking for some recommendations. I'll be using the headset exclusively for PC gaming.

Currently, I'm considering the Steelseries OMNI, but I'm not sure it's worth it for me since I don't really use most of its features, such as Bluetooth, multi-device connectivity, sidetone, etc.

Honestly, I don't know much about this. I'll mainly use it for PC gaming — Dota 2, PoE 2, CS2, Valheim, and single-player games.

Past gear experience:
I'm currently using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for 4 years now. I like the swapable battry feature and Steelseries Sonar EQ presets are avaialable for almost all modern games.

2016 Nissan Maxima - 80K miles, first CVT fluid change. sand-ish residue on the pan. this much is normal?? CVT is not slipping or any issue, YET..

My CVT is in good shape, but I want to be a responsible owner and have it serviced with a drain-and-fill. Unfortunately, the Nissan dealer service center won't do it, saying that the CVT fluid is a "lifetime" fluid.
I bought this chair about two weeks ago for around $50 (converted). Is there any temporary fix for it? Online says sewing will make it worse? I can't afford to replace it right now, as buying a replacement from Amazon would cost around $300 including shipping and taxes.
When using Game Optimizer + HGiG, the Windows 11 HDR Calibration Tool shows a peak brightness of 790 nits. However, when using FMM + DTM Off with all sliders set to 100, the peak brightness shows 600+ nits in the calibration tool.
AVS Forum recommends using FMM + DTM Off since it is more accurate.
Should I use Game Optimizer + HGiG, or use FMM + DTM Off but set the calibration tool to 790 nits (even though the test pattern disappears at 600+ nits)?
Any thoughts?
