Catching them in ATX next week and curious if anybody can share the band order and set times for this current tour with Tropidelic, Jarv, and Damn Skippy.

In y’all’s opinion, are all 3 openers must see, or should I plan to arrive a bit later.

Watching the AUSL game and noticed an outfielder has a pitch comm watch on and had never noticed that.

Is that common/fair?

Why would it be helpful for a fielder, especially an OF to know what the next pitch coming is?

Going to Billy Strings next week and got an offer to upgrade to get club access for $25. Curious if anybody has any personal experience or recommendations on whether it’s worth it.

As an alternative, any recs for places to eat or checkout before the show? Saw good reviews for Bahn Meee?

I know it’s a bit silly to try to predict such things; and it’ll be “official when it’s official” but curious when/if Karlyn will be pitching vs. the Volts this weekend.

Pretty sure she’s pitching tonight vs. Cascade, just not sure what the rotation has been for the Blaze. Daughter would love to see her pitch and trying to guess what day she’ll be pitching. Guessing Saturday or Monday (no game Sunday).

I’m local to Austin and not a single person I know scored from the lottery. EVERYBODY struck out. Don’t recall that ever happening for any other taping. Did out of town folks enter and score tickets?

Anybody have a +1 that’s available? Would buy ya a couple drinks for the hookup. TIA

Wish Billy & The Boys got longer than an hour, but they’re getting longer than both Wilco & Sheryl Crow. Really wish they had less acts, with longer sets! Guess it’s good the acts I want to see will be later, so I don’t need to get heat stroke out at COTA without any shade!

On YouTube they only seem to offer full replays and extended highlights of each game. I personally would prefer a shorter, SportsCenter type highlight reel, too. I’d guess more people would watch short <5min highlights compared to extended ~15mins highlights.

I posted this thread 33 Days ago…. And then UT went on a tear… SEC Tourney champs, through the Regionals, Supers, all the way into the Championship Series after an epic run back through the loser’s bracket culminating with back-to-back victories to knock off Tennessee.

Whatever they were missing, so glad these Longhorns found it and are hitting their stride at just the right time! No matter what happens in this championship series, it’s been such a joy watching this team!

Heading up to OKC for the Women’s College World Series with my tween, softball-loving daughter next weekend. Not a major roadtrip, but a roadtrip nonetheless and figured I’d post here as it’s my first time venturing into Oklahoma.

Leaving north Austin Thursday after school and thinking of driving up to Denton (halfway pt). Grab dinner somewhere (recs appreciated) and crash for the night.

Walk up leisurely, grab breakfast (hotel or otherwise) and head to Turner Falls to check out the falls and swim for a bit before stopping g for lunch and making our way to our Airbnb in Bricktown. Got 3 full days of softball Friday night, Saturday & Sunday before heading back to ATX on Monday.

Appreciate any recs of places to stop or other suggestions to make this trip a memorable one for my daughter and I.

It seems to be working out well for Tennessee, but this scheduling seems odd.
