Got a verbal offer & just got rejection email

Hi all, I got a call back and got a verbal offer from a team leader and he said that I should be getting an email the next day about an offer and he also said I should be working by next week, but I just got a rejection email.

I did have to change my availability a bit but I did tell him in person and he mentioned that he can work around it.

Did I get rejected because of that or is there still a possibility that I can get hired? I'm a bit confused.

ugh I'm so annoyed can someone tell me what's going on? no contact after 2nd-ish interview

Hi all, I've been desperately looking for a job & finally got a call back from target.

I had an open avail when I applied but while I was waiting (was waiting for a month or so) I decided to go back to school and now I'll be going to school about 3days a week - not all day tho.

I did the recorded interview and few days later I got a call back from a team leader but I missed the phone call unfortunately and I tried calling back multiple times trying multiple departments and they did not answer.

Since the target was 5mins away I went there to speak to the team leader and the conversation went well.

They told me though they needed me for sunday (when I have class), they can work around my schedule and they said they'll have me work from next week & that I'll get an offer email the next day. So technically I did get a verbal offer.

It's day 2 since we spoke and I have not gotten any call or offer email and it's starting to drive me crazy. There's no way for me to reach anyone via phone and I don't wanna bother them by walking in again.

Did I mess up? Any advice is appreciated.

Target vs Walmart

in your experience, which one was better to work at?

I'm leaning towards target but I did hear they don't give as much as hours compared to walmart

trying to decide...

When will I have access to SIS portal?

My account was locked due to verification but I was able to take care of it. SIS portal still seems locked though and I have to make a payment (payment plan) how long does it take for the lock to go away?

My account is blocked when I did the verification

"According to our records, you were selected for identity verification and no identity verification has been performed. This letter is to inform you that your academic record and application status at the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is currently "inactive." Your "inactive" status will prevent you from accessing your District-issued Outlook 365 email account and downloading any Microsoft products."

This is what I got and I did verification few days ago & I'm freaking out they'll drop my classes. When I try to access the link they provided, it just says session expired. Any help???

I said open availability but my schedule changed

I have an interview at walmart tomorrow. When I submitted an application, I had an open availability but now I decided I want to go to school so two days of the week I'll have class.

Should I just cancel the interview or tell them during the interview?

How much time did you take to study T2 D2 exam? Were they similar? CA

Just finished my 36 hr course but honestly still not confident for the exam.

How much time did you spend on studying for T2 D2 exam?

Also should I be taking them at the same time? I've heard they're pretty similar. Wasn't sure if I should take them together at the same time.

Thank you!!!

walked out from a toxic job, need reference.. what do I do?

Hi all,

for my very first and only job, I worked for this very very very small family owned company (6 people working and 3 were the owners & family member) which was extremely toxic. They knew I needed this job because of my immigration status (I had to be employed full time for my OPT) and they treated me so badly. I was fortunate enough to get my green card (not from the company) and get out of the place, but when I got out, I walked out because of an incident of them treating me badly & the toxicity was next level and they were being very unprofessional.

Now I'm trying to apply to a specific government job and they want me to list the work I worked for, and they're saying they WILL reference check.

I honestly don't even want to list the place as my work history, (not related to field I'm applying for) but if I do I'm pretty sure they'll talk shit about me for walking out. I'd rather have no work history than having this.

I'm worried if I don't list the company they might find out through background check or something like that

What should I do in this situation?

Any way to obtain billing history after years?

I want to access my medical records from Cigna, but when I called they told me they can't provide me with my own medical records since it's been more than few years?

Is there ANY WAY for me to get my medical records other than going to each of my providers?

Why would he not unfollow?

I started posting stories after being inactive on instagram for a very long time.

I've noticed my ex that I broke up with long ago (few years) saw my posts. After few months of him seeing my stories, he muted me.

Why would he mute me instead of unfollowing?
I get him not wanting to see the posts, but dont know why he wouldn't just unfollow me

any green card holders smoked join military?

I'm telling my buddy who's struggling financially to join military but he's saying he can't since he's a long time green card holder and he smoked weed. This is true? I told them there's waivers. But he's saying since there might be of him admitting of using, he's worried be won't be able to naturalize.
