Hey all, I always tried to do good denim care but I don’t think I’m doing it correctly. I’m wondering what the jean gurus on Reddit have to say. With my past jeans, after a month of wear, I would put them in a lightly warm bath and agitate the hell out of them. I don’t use any detergent or soap cause i am afraid of residue being left on an causing stains. After that I would hang them out side to air dry and after 30 minutes I would put them in the dryer (so they can return to original shape) I’m a young guy and I am not sure what I’m doing is correct. I just recently acquired vintage 13mwz and really want to treat them correctly. I’d love to hear your tips

I just rewatched the first Fast and Furious movie from 2001. It is so dated but I loved it omg. The builds, the Ja Rule and Limp Bizkit, really the general aesthetic of the movie and the era. I immediately turned on my PS2 and played NFS most wanted and that game also has a similar aesthetic.

There used to be Michael’s Bakery on Ave R and Nostrand. The restaurant across the street is still open but the bakery closed down a year ago unfortunately. My family used to hate the pizza from the bakery but I genuinely fucking loved it. Does anyone know the recipe? Or know anyone that used to work there and know the recipe? Particularly the sauce 😭

I am thoroughly in love with American culture and how it has been shaped through years of hardship, necessity, and the many immigrant groups combining their cultures to make dishes that fueled our nation for generations. Also I just love “Americana”, Levi’s jeans, Chevrolet, glass coke bottles, that sorta thing.

I see so many people on this subreddit with such great taste and knowledge when it comes to this cooking niche. I would love to hear if any of you guys have recommendations for contemporary cookbooks that feature a celebration of American recipes. Something a bit more dignified than just Burgers and mac n cheese. Even though those dishes definitely have their places in our culture and I would love them to be featured in a cookbook I would rather them not be the main focus of the book. Something more academic and attempting to make it a point to showcase the dishes of america. Since all of our dishes reflect the history of our many ethnic and geographic groups.

My recommendation for baking: I actually found a book similar to this for baking called “Baking Across America” from B. Dylan Hollis.

Me and my other friend play 2 person co-op multiplayer, he hosts always. I’m wondering if there’s like a progression system or if there’s like any thing like that for multiplayer like there is in the singleplayer campaign kinda. Or is it just doin all the available missions

I remember I really used to love the Jobs of Skyrim mod but I’m unsure if it still works after the anniversary edition update. I loved the bounty hunting part but tbh even when the mod was around it was still buggy. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I love Destiny and unfortunately these past years I missed so many seasons and missed up on all the story and I’ve been looking at a lot of Byf content to tell me what I missed.

Call it FOMO call it cope but I like to think that we are not done with Destiny. In the event that we get anything new. Is there anything left to make any plots based on the Warmind/Bray or Dreaming City/Ahamkara (my personal favorite storylines beside Shadowkeep nightmares)
