AI is designed to replace human jobs, and it’s doing so across the economy: from artistic jobs to programming jobs, and even gig economy jobs are under threat.

Said gig economy cannot absorb unemployed people forever, and self driving cars are being designed to replace Uber and Lyft drivers.

Steelman refers to a strong or effective opposition (such as an argument or adversary) set up in order to test or challenge one’s own rhetorical position.

Meaning further left Progressives/DSA can you convincingly steel-man the arguments of the Center Left/moderate democrats? And Center Left/moderate democrats, can you do the same for progressives/DSA?

This might be America specific, and the idea is specifically a response to the second Trump term.

The idea being that conservatives no longer deserve to be treated with grace, or handled with kid gloves. They elected an obviously corrupt sexist Warhawk and racist POS, and 8 years later they did it again.

A key plank of the idea is that political correctness must be abandoned in favor of brutal honesty. There is no point in trying to change the maga voters mind, because they are just evil, and deserve to be shamed and shunned.

I’ve decided to swap to red sermon. I was using Grandfather; and that was fine for getting me a few difficulties higher… but I’ve gotten a better red sermon. And what would be great next is an *even better* red sermon.

Edit: I got a 4 star Butchers Cleaver… and a bunch of regular Red Sermon’s from the 2nd run at the butcher. So that was fun
