r/gamedev is pro AI and is trying to hide away from their moderator’s financial interests in the matter

An r/gamedev moderator made a post defending AI in the subreddit and explaining why they are against even enforcing tags for AI posts.

This moderator has a financial interest in AI, as they are developing a plugin for AI integration on unity. (Unmentioned btw)

They then preceded to lock comments that mentioned it.

CMV: It would have been morally wrong for the European Colonizers to carve up African and Asian colonies on ethnicities or nationalities.

The Europeans did it wrong, but that is not because they didn’t carve out nation/ethno states like it is mentioned so often. Ethnicity and nationality has been a net negative on the world causing much suffering and I see very little reason to promote it further. I don’t understand why someone should be forced to follow arbitrary cultural norms (sometimes under threat of the law) just because they were born into that culture. This goes for European states too, I don’t think they have some special right to their ethno/nation states. Maybe for some historical reason there was no other way, but that reason has to be pretty extreme to be justified.

Women held equal status in the early church and their diminishment is a later invention.

Junia the Apostle
Phoebe the Deacon
Prisca a fellow worker of Paul
Tryphaena and Tryphosa workers of the Lord

On top of that the traditions of Peter and Mary Magdalene’s arguments.

The Jonah Hill stuff is funny but a lot of y’all should be thankful you weren’t being recorded at that point in your BJJ journey either.

I mean bro got made fun of his whole life and can now probably beat up the majority of people. It’s a high that you get over as you train and get beat up more (usually lol). We all said dumber shit than this but we ain’t have an audience. People wonder why celebrities are such weird freaks but we already treat them that way

If you find yourself complaining about the younger generations in OC, you’re probably wrong.

For all of human history we have piles of examples of old people hypocritically hating on younger generations for whatever they can find. We know we’ve been doing it as a species for at least 4 thousand years.

The only arguments against boil down to anecdotal evidence.

Rashfords free kick threat changed my mind on buying him.

I was against buying him but idk that was a filthy free kick and not the first filthy one this year and having that threat could make people a little more hesitant to keep Hack-a-Yamaling Barca outside the box which has been a huge problem this year.

Why does Alex have Sam Harris on his podcast AGAIN

He makes brain dead arguments, ignores counter points and repeats a claim he already made, then fucks off to be racist with his racist friends. Alex cannot be this desperate

How do y’all feel about Mourinho coming to the club after how he handled Prestianni?

Seemed less than satisfactory and not only will he have to deal with an entire team that is fully aware and emotionally invested in that. Also he will have to punish people who are stars even outside of the sport when he barely punished a rotation player. Not even mentioning that he hasn’t been successful with a club in a decade (unless you count his Conference league at Roma as a success)

Is there value in a neutral experience?

For example would the painless but early death of someone who would go on to lead a neutral life be tragic and/or bad?
