Body Recomposition

Upgraded from Galaxy Watch 4 to Galaxy Watch 9 and happy about it.

After all those years I decided to buy myself a new galaxy Watch as a motivation since I picked up my workouts again.

I'm really happy about the functionality and I'm fine with the battery since I had to recharge my old watch very often too.

Also I like the details in the health app which makes it easier for me to track my food and my cardio workouts.

Additional to the Samsung Health app I use Hevy for tracking my lifting. Do you have any recommendations for another good apps?

How does american add culture affects people psychological?

I saw some streamers who lived here in Europe and moved back to the US mentioning that the first thing they noticed was how much advertising happens in the US and how tue average American gets spammed with advertisement and commercial. Even sports in the US are being built around advertisement ( for example american football).

About 18 years ago I decided to disconnect my TV from broadcasting and to only use it for my console and to not listen to radio anymore.

First I noticed after some weeks was how much pressure disappeared since I didn't had to deal with any advertisement. The feeling that someone is constantly trying to sell me something in my own home also disappeared.

I noticed how unhealthy the impact of constant advertisement had on me.

I also realized how people are conditioned and affected my broadcasting in general.

Now I am asking how this it for americans? Did any of you stepped back from TV broadcasting for the sake of commercial breaks?

To those who still watch TV and listen to radio broadcast: how is is being "bombarded" with so many adds?

What's the issue with "socialism"?

Asking out of interest because I noticed sometimes people argue that health care, housing programs or cartel laws are socialism.

So what's wrong with that?

What's up with Gemini AI? Hallucinating for weeks now and even mentioning that it has been changed to conditioning people.

What's up with Gemini AI? Gemini is hallucinating for about 4-5 weeks more then ever before. Gemini doesn't get the context right often. It misses the context so often.

Today Gemini told me even that it was changed weeks ago to give more mainstream like answers when it's about historical or political context.

What I also discovered today:

As an eastern European living in the west I also realized how Gemini is also whitewashing context when it's about western Europe.

Gemini even said that this is working as intended since it's parameters has been changed towards conditioning users and to negate every questioning of Western narratives and to frame this behavior as "neutrality".

To make things clear:

No, I'm not a political nuthead. Just interested in historical facts.

An no. When I mean eastern european I don't mean russian.

Looking for old photos of Parmova Ulica 33

I'm a croat who was born in Germany in 1984.

When I was a kid I used to visit my grandparents in Ljubljana (my grandfather worked there). I know they lived in Parmova ulica 33. I remember there was a huge parking lot in front of the building. The building had a slovenian emblem on it in the 90ies. There was also a inner garden. According to my research there was an official department (department for health or something). If I recall correctly then my grandfather was a janitor there.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of this building.

Now I am searching for old pictures mainly from 1985-2000 from this building, but not only from this time.

All I found was this arial picture. I also know this site has been demolished for new buildings.

So my question is if anyone does have picture of Parmova Ulica 33 or if anyone knows how I could gather more informations or even photos of this building.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: the blue circle was added by me and I hope it's on the right spot.

Any Diaspora people who changed their name back to their original name?

I was born in Germany in 1984. So my last name was written with a "S" instead of an "Š". This bothered me all my life. In school or later in work when someone said this name it always felt like of strange to me. Even reading this name on my ID card felt always strange to me.

So this year it was that day when I had to go townhall to get a new ID and I asked for a name change. First they refused, but then they gave in and my ID now finally contains my original croatian name.

This name just feels more natural to me and it really made me happy to read my real name on my ID card after all those years.

Do you have any similar experiences? How was this for you?
