Xpulse is finished

When the news of XR300s release leaked a few days ago, it was teased that they will be CBUs and hence the price will be in the mid 5 lakh range. Details are out now...

CBU my foot these are completely made in India! The price will be like 30k~50k more than Xpulse and the result is a much better bike. I dont see how Xpulse, a bike thats getting like 3000 monthly sales, does not loose half of its market to XR300s.

Honda locked has in. We live in interesting times!

"Our age of bronze is collapsing"

Putting the meta tag because this is about world building itself and not something I world built myself. Its also a short rant so there is that.

Very Minor spoilers for the movie The Odyssey 2026. Basically at some point a character has a dialogue "Our age of bronze is collapsing". Yes, that character is talking about the bronze age collapse.

As someone who loves to look at the subjectivity of things, this one thing irked me. Its like assuming that the people 3300 years ago viewed themselves like we view the past

I understand what the movie was trying its just that, I dont think the people living through it thought of it that way. Like, the bronze age is a modern concept from our current vantage point where we understand that our tool tech went from sticks to stone to bronze then at some point we got to iron, industry, mechanized labor etc etc and how all those steps were necessary for the rest to happen.

Imagine 2000 years from now, humans live elusively in space stations and cruise ships and development is determined by who has access to earth like planets. So they have the Planet age -> Solar age -> intermediate age (everyone is on ships traveling to a new star) -> galactic exploration age -> unified age.

Imagine someone making an artwork where an 2000s Earthling says "our age of the planet is collapsing". That's how absurd that sentiment is.

Thanks for reading this. Do you think you have observed this someplace else?

What is your opinion of your fellow countrymen when it comes to driving?

Its a good thing that most vehicles here are small, light and have modest engines otherwise we would have some very bad traffic related body counts.

I just saw this image and like, are there more of these? Please post more of these 🥺

▲ 4 r/Isekai

[Recommendation] Recommend me a pair of Isekai : A great Isekai and an other isekai as trash as the first one is great

I will make the first pair:

 • Rezero : easily one the best isekai anime AND anime that is running right now. The story is amazing, the animation quality is good and is getting better season by season (talk about rarity!). The Characters on story and design level are very good. People say that it subverts troupes and while it does do that, I would argue that it actually expands them by its structure. An easy 8.5/10 from me.
 • In another world with my smartphone : wish fulfillment trash. This wasted my time and gave me absolutely nothing good. Even the fan service is this softcore BS, the harem dynamic feels like a nerd got a seat between all the popular girls but this shit does not even do anything with it. No drama, everything is automatically solved by a fucking phone. Animation is very bare bones and is almost as static as a web novel. This anime exists as a jobs program for under employed animators and VAs. Utter trash 2.5/10.

Similarly recommend me any two isekai. The criteria is basically the contrast in your like-dislike of the two. If the good isekai is a 7/10 then the trash could be 3~4/10. You can also recommend me two mediocre 5~6/10 isekai if you have watched them 😀👍

I wanted to ask something about S1E16

https://preview.redd.it/lwlvw5t08oah1.png?width=1586&format=png&auto=webp&s=45fda3a5b3bcc3bf3104b2a8d460e94d1fcc2c7a

[SPOILER FOR ANIME S1E16]

>!Did anyone of you find this episode unintentionally funny? Like sure its Hermit's backstory. And its a sad one.!<

>!But the opening scene of the giant doom cannon pointing directly at the robo only planet full of poor decrepit robots... Then the Professor having a long nose like Pinocchio, because Pinocchio lies... Then the fairly standard scenes of "unity" and "friendship" that in other stories setup loss and betrayal... then the (almost universal) setup for a backstab that the robot researches got... and all this start to finish was under the 12min mark of the episode!<

>!All this was sooooo predictable that when the planet blew up, I started laughing. I felt weird initially, but then the anime threw this (pic related) scene at my face, It was like the animators (not the writer) know that this was so damn predictable and fucking hilarious, so they are laughing with us. "Ha fuckin dumbass could not smell the gunpowder until the trigger was pulled".!<

>!I am not impugning the writer, I'm just saying that this was so bloody predictable that it had the opposite effect on me. I laughed instead of feeling for Hermit.!<>!!<
