Ikumi Unagiya Appreciation Post💕

Been rewatching the Fullbringer Arc and I forgot how much I loved her character. On top of being attractive, she’s also shown to be compassionate and maternal to Ichigo. Even her brief cameo in TYBW was quite memorable. I firmly believe that she should have been introduced sooner into the series, her dynamic with Ichigo has so much untapped potential, especially considering the fact he’s grown up without his mother for most of his life

Glory Days Mr Incredible was such a Chad!

The suit, the physique, the dialogue. Everything was perfection. As a kid I loved the Incredibles 1 movie, and that was mainly because of Bob, he was my childhood hero.

The BBC stereotype is so damaging to white women

This image I attached is the perfect example of it. I know it’s a fetish comic but you wouldn’t see the inverse of this. It’s always got to be a black guy corrupting a white woman. And it’s absurd how many white men irl carry these same thoughts, using slurs like “mudshark” to reinforce their points. Why do you think they take such offense to a woman having a black guy as a sexual partner?

Which Mr Incredible suit do you prefer and why?

I’ve always loved the Glory Days suit. The blue and black looks so cool whereas the actual Incredibles outfit I feel is a bit bland, despite it being more iconic. That being said, when Bob wears the original suit in the. Current timeline, it looks horrible since he’s so out of shape, so maybe I’m swayed by the fact I prefer his Glory Days physique too. What do you guys think?

During her Glory Days, do you think many heroes made advances on Helen? And what was it about Bob that made her choose him?

It’s known from the Incredibles 1 Disc Extras that Gamma Jack made several moves on Helen, which she turned down. Even in the interview at the start of the movie, she rejects the idea of a family, citing independence. So what was it you think about Bob that made her ultimately change her decision.

What is Elastigirl’s best character trait?

Aside from her amazing body, what do u guys love about Elastigirl’s character? For me it’s just how great of a mother she is to her children. In Incredibles 1, when they go to look for Bob on syndrome’s island, her dialogue with her children is so so good as she prepares them for the dangers ahead, and really sets the tone for how great of a mom she is. Bob is lucky to have her as his wife, and her kids are lucky to have her as their mother

Elastigirl’s Body Was Truly Ahead Of It’s Time

Crazy how big asses and a thick physique wasn’t as prominent during the time period the movie was set in, but also the time period it came out. It’s almost prophetic in a way…

Arguably the greatest portrayal of Joker Toxin in Batman Animated Media (Caped Crusader Season 2)

The intro to Episode 9 was sensational, and it’s just a shame that poor Hattie had to be the one to succumb to the toxin. But seeing how it played out, it’s a real treat for joker fans, including myself, who’ve been waiting for a joker that actually uses his toxin, which I feel has been under appreciated in recent years.

Thoughts on Hattie Tetch’s character? Would you class her as a villain? (Caped Crusader S2)

Having let the season soak in, I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the way they handled her character. I think her character showed real promise at times, and I did prefer her to Oswalda. The whole concept of manipulating the public through her talk show influence was interesting to say the least. But >!her death I felt I was quite forced and took away from the ultimate potential for the character in a potential third season!<.

As for my question as to whether she’s a villain, I came across a YouTube video regarding >!her death!< and saw several commenters saying she was just as bad as Thorne and >!she got what was coming to her!<. Would you agree that she is a villain?

Who was your favourite reimagined villain in Caped Crusader?

One of the best parts of the show was the reimagined villains, even if they weren’t executed as I liked.

The Main one that stood out to me was the Joker. His German accent and stoic mannerisms were chilling, in addition to his use of the joker toxin, which was horrifying to say the least. He was definitely the reason that I powered through the second Season as they continuously teased him without actually showing his appearance.

The one that really disappointed me was the Riddler. It was disappointing to see him be a regular mobster, with little to no mannerisms or personality shared with his original comic counterpart. He was just a maniac that went shooting up everyone and everything, he really did lack nuance or any development. I’d say even Paul Dano’s iteration of the Riddler was better than this as he actually had riddles incorporated throughout his involvement In the movie.

What were your favourite or least favourite villain?
