First motor bike loving it

Pretty much love in this thing and very stoked to dial it in the way that I want it to be. I was on marketplace a few months ago while on a break at work and saw a guy that was selling a beach cruiser motorbike that wouldn’t run for 25 bucks. I messaged him and told him I could come get it at lunchtime and that I was 100% definitely gonna buy it and he held it for me and I took a long lunch break went scooped the thing. Note.- the only thing on this build that was from the bike that I bought for 25 bucks is the engine kit chain and all that everything basically besides the bicycle then I swapped it over to this frame that I bought from another dude on marketplace, which is actually super sick because it has the longer frame and I had the ape hangers that came with it. Anyways, I picked up this stainless steel water bottle and turned it into a gas tank. I just have yet to mount it due to the Petcock kinda sitting in a weird spot when I put the bottle where I want it to be. Just wanted to share cause I think this thing’s bad ass and some of you guys got some really sick stuff too. I love bikes so this is definitely a solid hobby and budget friendly.

Xr70 issues

Yo guys, I’m not like a complete rookie but I’m a little confused at what this hole is in the front of the engine? The bike runs fine seemingly and is just smoking a good amount. Is this something I can JB weld and call it a day or..?

I’ve had this 2003 XR 70 for like five or six years and put new rings on a few years ago and was putting the car back together and lost the set screw. Needless to say it’s been sitting a while but just got everything back on and ready to go and noticed this gaping hole lol . Thank you for any help!

What’s a good price for my 94 sl (auto- 145k)

I have a 94 sl that I’ve owned for 5 years. I’ve put ~10k miles on it since buying it. I got it from a kid on marketplace and it had some front end damage/ rocker panel/ rear quarter panel but the thing started right up and drove 100%. The kid got it from his father, who I was told took great care of it. After the kid got it from his dad, he hit a deer and went off the road into a tree with the rear end of the car - tail light area. I had a friend work on it and do the body work (told him I don’t want or need it to be showroom level quality) and he did a great job. There are still a few fiberglass spots that could be cleaned up but the car is all there and that’s what I wanted. The kid I got it from told me he had the transmission rebuilt (no paperwork, but judging by the smoothness and zero hiccups whatsoever- I believe him.)
While my buddy was doing the body work he also replaced the valve cover gaskets and did the timing (140k miles were on the car at that point)
Replaced the passenger window motor
Put on some cheap coil overs and different wheels

Anyway, the car isnt perfect - however, to me, the selling point is really that it is a mechanically sound vehicle that I am confident can be driven hundreds of miles without leaving you stranded. All the windows and lights work and honestly, I just love how it looks and drives . with 145,000 miles on it, everything stock besides the coil overs, wheels, and a borla muffler, is it fair to ask 3200$?

Also I’m located just north of Philadelphia. Somebody recently came to check it out and literally offered me $1200.

I just wanted to post this and see what your guys consensus is. I mean, 1200$ cash ain’t buying much as far as cars go.

Went down on my softail on July 4

Always had a bike since I was 18. I’m now 33 and dumped my bike on Saturday. Hoping insurance will come thru 🙏 Bike would not start or even click after the crash. Thinking it may be a sensor (brake or neutral safety switch?)

Epoxy floor coatings- for the low $4

Howdy y’all. So Ive been working in the coatings industry for 8 years now (super random considering I have my BA in communications but life was happening and I needed a job). By coatings I specifically mean manufacturing epoxy, urethanes, polyaspartic floor coatings. The company has treated me well and there’s a very solid work-life balance which has kept me there. Anyway, over the past 7 years I started messing around with these coatings, learned about the application process, etc. I regularly talk with the contractors who use our product and got any and all questions I had about doing floors answered. What im getting at, is that I’ve been seeing ads on FBMP and what that offer epoxy coatings for $7-$11 per square foot. If you’ve ever thought about getting your garage floor, basement or anything else coated, I am willing to do it for way cheaper. I’m located in bucks county near Doylestown.
