Steam is not cutting it. I am having to switch the direction of my cables to power 1 MV Machine and my EBF. As you can see I did have plans on scaling up my steam. I even built all the water tanks for it. But I want a power source that can take me a long distance if possible. Someone mentioned something about light fuel. Should I go the combustion generator route? Which direction offers the best power source as I am going into MV. I feel like I need to redesign my entire setup to accommodate for MV Lol.

Auto Crafting accidentally skipped my quest achievment

https://preview.redd.it/r6v5s00wfyjh1.png?width=737&format=png&auto=webp&s=112471fd07e258e599118858d9b0696e21732d7b

I made an oversight. I autocrafted my circuit assembler and I realize now that doing that skipped my good circuits quest and in turn now I did not achieve my circuit assembler quest... I do own the server so can I like force achieve it or something? This kinda sucks lol

Current Base Middleish of LV (Any tips?) w/pics

So I am mid LV, Just made the EBF. This is my base at the moment. I am planning on making the 9 steel barrels use logistics pipes and I am currently working on building the blocks for that. There is nothing really inside of them yet but the idea is that I can just request the things I need from all 9 barrels and not have to worry much about my storage organizing problems lol. Temporarily I am using the diamond barrels.

I have 4 coke ovens, 2 BBFs (which are keeping up with my steel needs but barely) and to power everything (including my new EBF) I currently have 9 advanced solar boilers with large potin fluid pipes and a buffer which is the 5x5x5 iron tank (holds 2,000,000 of steam)

I am being told I am doing things right which is nice BUT, I can always do better. Is there anything I can do to make my life easier progressing?

Best Storage Solution during LV?

I wanted to get into AE since I am super familiar with it in the all the mods packs, but It looks like to me the silicone is going to take awhile for me to get my hands on. I know a lot of people use the drawers and I have too. I just want to make sure I am getting a much better storage solution before I jump into AE (Which I eventually will no matter what) I am like beginning of LV RN. Also super happy with my current steam setup!

Should I wait to switch

I built a computer for my daughter specifically to run SteamOS. I avoided Nvidia gpus and kept it on the AMd side of things just to be sure it ran good. I find myself jealous because I run windows 11 pro and it was a much better experience than windows. My situation is different. I have a 4070 Super. Im scared that it won't run steam os well on my computer. I hear Bazzite can run it well. Everything I use on my computer looks like is supported by Linux. What should I do? Wait for steam os? Or get bazzite. Not sure here.

Edits are from spelling fixes

Good first PC for Kids?

Didn't wanna buy the steam machine. Was thinking to get the kids a computer to share to play steam games with SteamOS or Bazzite. They aren't playing the most crazy games so I figured I could beat the Steam Machine. This is what I came up with. What do you guys think? (The small form factor was a must have)

I wanted to stay as close to 600 dollars as possible. Prices are just insane though right now. I am USD. Also probably just an HD 1080p monitor. Nothing crazy.

Any NOOB wanna join my server?

I cant promise it will be up 24/7 since I have kids and sometimes I have to step away so if the server crashes I cant help that but if anyone just starting out wants to join my server on Greg Tech New Horizons LMK. I have a whitelist so only people I want can join. I am just starting out with this modpack but I have played other modpacks too. I also work a job so I cant promise I will always be on but if anyone is interested lmk. ( I am just getting into the bronze age and finally just crafting my own Bronze Pickaxe.) thats how far I am in the pack. Been playing on my own hosted server by myself lol

Wife has so much breast milk

What are some things to do with all this breast milk. Baby is only 2 months old and we have over 1700oz (a full deep freezer) of breast milk. I know that this is probably a good problem to have but we don't know what to do with all of it

Thinking about switching from UE5 to Godot

I know this is probably going to be biased, but I just want to know some of the benefits of this engine. I used to work with Unity so I would only need to brush up on my C#. I think I wanna explore making 2D games and while UE5 can do this its not the best option. I also desire to keep making 3D stuff. All while keeping the engine light weight. I was wondering compared to UE5.4 ( which is the engine version I almost exclusively use ) would this be a good switch? Or at the least good to explore? Any insight on any info relevant to my questions would be much appreciated! Especially from those of you that have specifically switched from Unreal engine to Godot. Thanks.

Advice on Prototype look of my game

I just need help with the temporary look of my game. I have been making the ground works for my game and I have been trying VERY HARD to not work on art and just work on the actual systems of my game making sure it all feels good and works properly. With that being said I can't look at these harsh cubes and colors anymore. I even tried slightly changing the color from its base gray and orange colors. Basically I was just wondering if there is anything else I can really do to make the prototype stage of my game easier to look at. I think I already made some great improvements here just adding the kenny textures and triplanar projection on the temporary cube environment. Any small tweaks here or there that can go a long way before I add art? Any suggestions would be great, Thanks!
