This move has killed me more times than i could count

Insect glaive is my most used and comfort weapon. I picked IG in high rank when I got tired of missing rathian with my hammer when she hovered above ground. I was messing around with IG in the training ground for a while and decided to take it out for a spin. Dancing with rathian in the air for the first time became among my most memorable experiences in the game. Best choice I have ever made.

But I have also played other weapons throughout my play through that became part of my main weapon rotation:

-Lance: My current end game weapon. Lance was one of those weapons I found really boring to watch, then I decided to give it a shot while grinding anomalies. Instantly became a fan lmao. This weapon carried me throughout end game, including using it to defeat some of the title update monsters and risen elders. It's become one of the most fun weapons I have ever played, and the weapon I pick when I'm scared or in a hunting party.

Hammer: My first weapon, my beloved. I used to watch a lot of Monster hunter content before I started playing the game (rise is my first) and hammer has always looked appealing. Still does whenever I see it in action and still very satisfying using it. But it became hard to be good with it as the game progressed, and became even harder to go back after switching to IG in high rank. But I do visit it now and then on slower monsters or monsters I'm more comfortable with. Still with great struggle of course, but my love for the weapon remains

So the idea was, we set up barrel bombs, one poses some distance in front and set up camera, while the other stands out of frame to throw a small barrel bomb to trigger the explosion. It was hilarious to do but suprisingly hard to get a good shot. We also had limited time to play together so we ddnt get more attempts.

Anyway, this is something fun i thought yall can try! Any location of your choice, be it a solo photo or with a group of other hunters, if you find a way to get all 4 XD

I have played all the melee weapons at this point. Im not good with a lot of them, only with lance and insect glaive. Longsword, suprisingly gives me the most trouble. Even more than CB lmao. Easy to pick up, suprisingly hard to master. Staying in that flowstate isnt as easy as it looks and its so easy to mess up and DIE despite the weapon having all the evasive options in the world

I rarely get in a situation where im stunned, paralized or asleep so i never got this interraction. Even when i sometimes do, half of the time she's dead (Downed). So this was definitely suprising

Not to mention the shock i had discovering insect glaive (My main in sunbreak) cant fly. My world broke in pieces right then and there 😭. Among other quality of life changes other weapons and the overall game lacks compared to the modern mh games.

Its been a jarring experience and i have just started!

When i tested it out on the training grounds the max i got was around 45-65% or so, but i forgot i did not account for Latent power and Agitator 0_0

I think i can still refine it further?

I do wish there was a more powerful or supercharged variant of Lunagaron because he is my favorite monster in the game. But compared to these, poor doggo doesnt make it up there😞

And no, i aint doing no EX anomaly investigation 200 monsters. Hell naw. MHGU is waiting for me
