Just got off the waitlist for a class, but now I can’t accept it because the deadline for it is 11:06 tonight!! HELP

What should I do, this class I’ve been waiting for finally I’m off the waitlist but I’m being given till 11:06 tonight to register however I can’t due to log in stuff.

One stop line is down too, should I go in person, where should I go? What should I do?

Upgrade to Signature for Newtone and Grossbeat?

I have the producer edition and now that the sale has happened I’m debating upgrading to Signature.

I really want Newtone, it’s much easier to use than melodyne in fl due to its integration. While it doesn’t have as many features I’m mainly using Melodyne for pitch correction (no harmonies, or timing stuff)

Then gross beat is just awesome a great way to add more rhythmic variation/interest to instrumentals.

I’m pretty set on my choice however I want to ask if there’s anything else I should take into consideration before going for it? Is there some issue with Newtone / grossbeat I should be aware of before Making this choice ?

Mixing is great, are we listening to the same album?

Idk I found the mixing to incredibly energetic and full of life in a way that most modern metal releases don’t feel (to me at least).

I’ve seen so many call it lifeless noise, which is so strange to me cause that’s the exact opposite of what I’m hearing. I guess I didn’t realize how many actually prefer the clean pop mixes of modern metal.

What type of Vocal distortion is this? (Not sure it counts as screaming, but I’d figured you guys would know)

On queens of the Stone Age song “Song for the dead” Mark lanegan does this incredibly aggressive vocal distortion but never loses the melody.

As someone who also is a low baritone I find his singing to be incredibly inspiring and I’m wonder how he did it.

Just recently getting into the band and loving the production on The sister albums! Any suggestions on how to start getting sounds like that?

As the title says I’m addicted (haha) to the 2 horror albums and love the production on them, and was wondering if anyone here knows how to start making music in that vain, like sample packs, sound libraries, etc.

Note I have 2 years of self produced experience so I’m not a complete noob and should understand whatever you have to say

Using a microphone desk arm for acoustic guitar

Hey all I was thinking about getting a desk arm for my microphone to speed up my work flow, that way I don’t have to break out a stand every single time I wanna get an idea down.

However my biggest concern is how effective they actually could be for acoustic guitar, I know they can be a bit of a limp noodle when extended to far which would make it basically useless when it comes to getting a good take.

If anyone here has tried let me know if it’s more trouble than it’s worth
