Possible bird that Browt might be based on: Maleo

Since the possibilities are endless on what kind of Browt might be based on, a possible bird that I believe it could be based on would be the maleo, a critically endangered bird in Indonesia.

Since there are speculations about the new region being based on the Philippines, which is near Indonesia, and this particular bird species being featured, here are some other speculations that could form a bigger connection.

  • The shape of Browt's crest and tail feathers is somewhat similar to the maleo.
  • Both Browt and the maleo have dark colored feet with three toes each.
  • Browt has the same color scheme as the maleo chick (except for the eyebrows and beak).
  • The bright coloration around the adult maleo's eyes could have some connection to Browt's eyebrows.
  • Since the maleo is known for burying its eggs in sun‑ or geothermal‑heated sand, this would make a lot of sense if Browt gains the Ground-type.

We won't know for sure until everything is officially revealed.

Drake's Opinion on the Starters' Leaked Secondary Types

Since this meme is based on a rumored leak, we should take this with a grain of salt. (Though I would prefer the bottom picture in my opinion.)

Allow More Pokémon Job Locations and Opportunities

Pokémon has an incredible global fanbase, but if you don't live in Washington, Dublin, or London, The Pokémon Company basically won't hire you. That's a huge missed opportunity.

I started a petition because it feels wrong that a franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary is limiting itself so much. People worldwide—from California to Brazil to Australia—are desperate to work there. Yet there's no remote work option, barely any entry-level positions, and it feels like they're ignoring tons of talented graphic designers and creators already making fan-made Pokémon that rival official artwork.

Plus, Satoshi Tajiri, the franchise's creator, is autistic. If The Pokémon Company truly believes in diversity and inclusion like they claim, they should be actively recruiting neurodivergent and disabled talent too.

Has anyone else noticed how many talented fan artists and designers are out there who'd jump at the chance to work for this company? What would actually make you feel like Pokémon was genuinely walking the walk on inclusion? If this resonates with you, consider signing and sharing the petition—let's show them there's real demand for this change.

I was disappointed with the gym badges for Galar and Paldea. Naming them after the types is not very creative. Also, recycling the type logos and having puzzle pieces with little detail is not very creative either.

I want the gym badges for the new RPG games coming up be something awesome like the Kalos badges and the redesigned Hoenn badges.

For Pokémon Winds and Waves, I hope the main rival picks the starter Pokémon strong against the player's choice.

For Pokémon Winds and Waves, I hope the main rival picks the starter Pokémon that is strong against the player's choice this time.

The previous main RPG games starting with Pokémon Sun and Moon had the main rival pick the starter that is weak against the player's choice. I felt that it made the games kind of easy and not much of a challenge. I'm aware that the starter strong against the player's choice is owned by the Champion or a very powerful trainer in those games.

Having the main rival's starter be strong instead of weak against the player's choice for the new games would make it an exciting challenge again just like the battles against Blue and Silver.

Oh My Goodness Squidward (Pokémon English Dub)

Here's a meme based on the SpongeBob meme "Oh My Goodness Squidward!" where a customer complains to Plankton about the English Dub of the Pokémon anime (with Ash) changing for the worse.
