I give up on trying to find this on my own. I've been searching for this for the better part of a decade and still cannot find anything about it. Starting to genuinely think i just dreamt this up as a kid.

I watched an episode around the late 2000s, very probably around the same time shows like backyardigans and mechanimals

I dont remember much, but:

• There were 3 animal "families" on the island, and the 3 kids from those families played toghether
• The island was slightly raised off of the sea, it kinda just looked like a cylinder of earth slightly rising out of the water
• The houses for each of the families had this glass dome around it (like sandy from spongebob), though i dont think there was any explanation for that

The episode i watched had one of the kids' grandpa show them how to fish, he brought them to this lower part of the island, where there was a small indent/cave they had never seen before that was full of fishing gear. They then all got into a rowboat and the grandpa sailed slightly away from the island so they could fish.

I dont remember anything else, i dont know the intro, what the animals the characters were, or what actually went down during the fishing. I feel like i used to remember at least one of the animals species (bear? otter?) but the amount of times i tried to recall this might have messed if up :(

If it helps, im brazilian. Though all of the cartoons at the time that looked like that (3d rendered, i mean) were american, so it probably was as well.

I'm playing through a game that requires the gyro to progress (doki-doki universe). The steam deck already has a gyro, but i cant figure out how to use it, seems to be unsupported?

I could not get the "emulate gyro with mouse" working either (by using the "gyro to mouse" on the controller settings), so that i could at least get through that section

I dont need a fully working gyro, just enough to get past this section of the game, it can be clunky! What i need is to be able to "rumble by shaking the controller repeatedly, then tilting so that characters fall down"

Could anyone help?

So, I had this problem for months when i first switched to CachyOS, daily computer freezes (sometimes multiple times a day) where i cant move the mouse, i cant input anything, etc. The screen showed the second it froze and stayed like that until it got turned off by the manual power button (which is probably bad for the PC, but i had no choice).

It took me months to figure this out, as there are always no logs related to the freeze during that time, but it seemed like it was an interaction with nvidia and linux (known to be unstable from what i read), so i removed hardware acceleration from browser i was mainly using, brave.

Just like that, poof, never froze again. Months passed, no issues. But recently ive been joining game jams again and you straight up cannot play (or in my case, playtest) any games without hardware acceleration. A few other websites are also broken, such as minecraft seed viewers, so its not just games that are affected buy not having this setting.

Its been more than a year since ive encoutered this issue originally and i wanted to know, is there truly no other way to fix this issue than live without hardware acceleration?

Sorry if this seems ranty, im just confused on how i cant seem to find a solution to this issue more than a year after i encountered it. Is there something im missing?

This is a beautiful vinyl, that i really wanted to buy, but not for that price, yeesh... And that possibly doesnt even include the import costs from what the website implies, so another 50% when it lands in Brazil.

More than half of a monthly minimum wage feels absurd for a vinyl, even if i want it a lot.

I saw there is a Hillside 46 (which would be perfect!!), but i cannot find the cherry MX version for it, only the low-profile choc version shows up

The corne v4 comes close too, but i want a keyboard with the PCB separate from the controller.

Weird request, but basically a grindy game where you chop a lot of wood or mine a lot, and you can progressively get better tools, but it never gets automated. You would still need to go out and gather the resource.

Im NOT looking for sandbox or survival games, I want RPG mechanics and not much depth, just getting resources mostly for number go up.

The only one i can think of (for some reason) is a roblox game i played when i was younger called lumber tycoon 2. I really dont want to interact with roblox if possible, though.

Aside from wanting it to be on PC, it can by any playtime lengh, any style, can be 3d or 2d, etc.

Edit: When i say resource collection, i mean hitting a tree with and axe or hitting rocks with pickaxes, not "receiving resources as rewards for other actions". Sorry for not clarifying.

Also, please don't recommend games where you can technically choose to not automate, when that means just grinding more and was clearly not the intended way to play.

Basically, Im curious if its possible to have a frankenstein world, wonky chunk borders and all

For example, i would take a world created with seedA, somehow change the seed to seedB, then go into un-explored chunks to see seedB while keeping the explored chunks from seedA unchanged.

For some reason, searching for this only shows "how to change your server seed" (where all chunks will be regenerated), but i want to do this with my local singleplayer world without altering existing chunks.

Switched to linux a year ago and i am still finding and learning new things i can do, this is so damn cool

Surprised i couldn't find any results on this... I love how this time signature sounds but the only examples i have are these:

- Haggstrom (from Minecraft)

- SevenFour.ogg (from Deltarune Chapter 4)

- Mother Brain Boss (from Super Metroid)

- PULSE / Third Wave Flip Flop (from A Dance of Fire and Ice)

Can be songs you like, or just any that you know, since it seems there are very few songs that fit the bill from (what i could find). Give me recommendations!
