Been working solo on a 2D pixel-art survival base builder. The goal: Stardew's farming/survival loop, The Sims' freedom to actually build and furnish your house, and Minecraft's creative freedom in how you shape your space.

Right now I've got a system where you can fully construct and furnish your house — walls, floors, roof, furniture — and walk seamlessly between inside and outside with zero loading screens.

The other half of the loop: nights bring raids, and eventually massive monsters that can physically tear down whatever you've built. So building isn't just decoration, it matters for survival.

Still early, but the core loop — explore, gather, build, survive the night — is coming together.

• Self-Sabotage: Socialism's obsession with self-sufficiency ensures nobody better ever gets in the market — so a handful of well-connected players monopolize everything from sugar to cement, not because they're good, but because why be good when you can just be protected?
• The Diploma Factory: Universities are printing degrees like like Zimbabwe prints cash, they will invent entire new majors by reshuffling the same modules into different combos to teach the same info a hundred different ways. It’s the natural endpoint of socialism: education stops being about value creation, and becomes just another resource to distribute equally.
• Allergic to Entrepreneurship: Want to do a business? Cute. The bureaucracy will spiritually destroy you in a week and send you crawling back to wait for the teacher’s concours. Socialists simply cannot trust the individual to create anything without permissions.
• The Trap: Socialism's biggest lie is convincing a population that supply chains run on good intentions and patriotism rather than supply and demand — and when reality hits , whine louder, blame harder, demand more of the same. Nobody learns anything, they just blame someone and demand more of the same.

Why learn a skill when degrees are free? Why produce anything when the socialism subsidizes everything ? Why build when you can just vote for more free stuff?

Humans always follow the path of least resistance—which under socialism means a useless master's degree and applying concours. The system works perfectly until oil prices dive and there is nobody left worth taxing.

The sad part is Nobody is thankful. Nobody is grateful. Instead, everyone feels even more entitled. Everyone views themselves as a victims. it just breeds resentment

I am trying to figure out if my experience in dating is just the standard reality of how things work, or if I am doing something wrong.

My Experience:

• The Effort: I pay for everything, give her all my time and attention, and keep things entertaining so she doesn't get bored.
• The Focus: I am always trying to show that I am a good man by looking out for her expectations, handling the criticism, and making sure she is happy with me.
• Intimacy: This is treated as a big no-no that I should never ever mention. She is the only one who has the right to open and close that topic.

It feels one-sided because I don't get the same treatment in return. So it feels like an audition.

What My Friends Say:

• Some say this is normal in the beginning and things will balance out once she is comfortable.
• Some say I am being used and am setting an unhealthy dynamic from the start.
• Some say it is an attraction issue, because when someone isn't fully attracted to you, they make you prove yourself more.

Is this how I should date as a man? Or am I just being a people pleaser ?
