I am a middle school teacher so I have to be pretty active at work.

Planning on getting a disc replacement in the next few weeks/months for neck/scapular pain that Ive been dealing with for over 2 years. Conservative treatments have helped but finally getting some nerve issues in left arm.

My question is how long should I anticipate to take FMLA? Ive heard 3 to 6 weeks. I know each individual is different but wanted to hear some people's recovery timelines.

Anyone willing to DM a pic of your stock tank pool setup?

Its 100⁰ in central Texas but planning on using our stock tank in winter and want to get some ideas on how to heat it.

Ive seen those propane heaters but never in action.

Ive been dealing with neck/trap/scapular pain for 2 years. Over that time I've done a tone of PT to manage the pain.

About 12 months ago I got a RFA at c5c6c7 to help with the scapular pain. Over the last month Ive started to feel that scapular pain again.

My question is how many of you have seen pain improvement with a 2nd round of RFA?

I was planning on getting a ADR back in December but I postponed bc i was feeling pretty good. Pain is 3-5/10 depending on what I do to manage it.

Ive had scapular pain radiating from my C56 for about 2 years now. Ive done everything to combat the pain, almost pulled the trigger on a ADR about 8 months ago but was feeling better. Had an RFA about a year ago and planning on the 2nd soon bc the scapular pain is coming back.

Lately though ive been having shoulder pain in the front of my shoulder and some paing going into by inside elbow.

Could this be some biceps/shoulder issue or could this be from my neck?

Still able to workout but very modified and thinking it could just be my shoulder. Anyone had pain in front of shoulder that was fixed with a disc replacement?

My wife and I are flying to PR Monday night and staying in San Juan for almost 2 weeks. Staying near Condado beach and looking for a workout gym!

Also any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have been teaching middle school math for 22 years, 8th grade math for all those years and Algebra for the past 6.

I work in an All-Boys single gender middle school in a title 1 school. Our population is 96% low socio-economic and 70% hispanic. Very small school, 250 total and about 80 in 8th grade, which I am the only 8th grade math teacher.

This next year we are moving to an Algebra for all model. Every 8th grader will take Algebra. I pushed for this for multiple reasons.

-The Algebra state EOC is very passable

-7th grade scores in our state are extremely low (no. calculator on test

-8th graders get a calculator all year (all 7th graders wil be in advanced which is 8th grade math)

-70% of 8th graders took Algebra already, 100% passed EOC

My question is has anyone gone to this model? Did it work? What problems arise? Any suggestions on making this as successful as possible?

I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 5.3 with 99k miles.

Never changed out Transmission Fluid.

Ive heard that at this point it may be best not to should I go ahead and change it.

Not noticing any issues with transmission, occasionally it may have a hurky change but nothing regular or too concerning.

Looking for a flooring guy who can install laminate in a condo in East Austin.
